Ok, so ya’ll know Napier isn’t getting fired, right?!?!?

You would think that somebody on our “Army” staff would have prepared for the inevitable situation that Lagway would go down…

No offense to the Lil’ Yale guy, but, c’mon…there are probably some frat house flag guys that could be as confident and accurate as he was…

How could you not be ready for that?!?!?!?
Will there be an open competition to the student body on Monday for Warner's backup position?

Sounds like the Lagway injury situation won't effect whether Napier gets fired or not. So he is probably toast after the LSU game. Just hope if Kiffin is a possibility that they are knocked out of the playoff with another loss. Don't give a damn if it's Georgia doing it if Kiffin is the best coach we can get. A lot of coaches are zero chance of coming here like Oregons coach and Meyer etc. I think it was said Fisch would not be considered either.

Suppose OSU fires Ryan Day, then brings lures Curt Cignetti to Columbus. The Buckeyes will then save UF a buyout of Day's contract as compared to Kiffin's.
I don't think Meyer is out of the picture yet. He's said so many things, yet ends up doing the opposite. Of course he's not gonna come out and say he, or any other coach, is interested in the eventual HC opening at UF while Napier is still employed. If it ultimately ends up being Kiffin, at least he's a major upgrade, but I'd prefer Meyer, Cignetti, or Kiffin in that order.

Could be an interesting situation if Day somehow did get let go. MI being down probably saves him though.

The big booster claimed there is zero chance of Meyer coming here. I guess he is happy just doing the TV stuff now if that is true.

The Sock Lord is going to celebrate Lagway's injury being less serious than previously thought by getting wasted and listening to Ragga Dubstep for the rest of the day.

In case someone* wants to criticize, no banjo today.

Seriously, there’s a better percentage chance of them signing Napier to an extension deal than firing him at this point, Ya’ll realize that right?

Unreal…
There’s a zero percent chance they extend him and I would say a non-zero chance he gets fired.

Lagway injury might have been the coup de grace for Napier.

You are delusional at this point unless you think we are going to beat TX or LSU with Yale's scout team QB from 2023. Sounds like we might have a healthy Lagway for LSU though.

I'd rather give the Nappy another year than hire the Lame Kitten.

Kerwin Bell is still my 1st choice if a firing does occur.....

Not going there…but do yourself a favor and don’t stay up…you won’t know on Tuesday…that’s a safe bet…
Well no shit Nostradamus............at 12:01 am tomorrow, it will be Wednesday. And toilets to have plumbing leaks, ballots in back rooms and under desks to count, mysterious trucks from out of state still delivering ballots.........

It’s funny how those in the “media” like to speculate on what Florida “needs” to do.

Florida doesn’t “need” to do anything. And they don’t owe anybody (including fans or recruits) anything.

At no point this season has Stricklin or anybody in the UAA said Napier’s job is in jeopardy. Not once. Not a hint. Not a sound. NOTHING.

The entire fantasy about Napier being fired is driven by those like Fever (no offense) who buy hook, line, and sinker into what “insiders” sensationally claim “big boosters” are doing and then act surprised or shocked when nothing happens.

There has been no indication whatsoever that Napier’s job is at risk. Could it be? Perhaps. But at this point, assuming that it is is reckless, foolish, and contrary to reality.

Now, with all the speculation, should Florida clarify his status with recruits? Perhaps. But that isn’t the way Stricklin does things. He has demonstrated that over his tenure. He certainly isn’t going to change now to appease the masses or fanatical folks living in fantasy land…and he doesn’t have to.

And by the way, how the heck does Wunderlich know what recruits are being told. Well, because he doesn’t.

There's a reason Kerwin Bell is coaching at the FCS level.
Musclecramp - McLame & Nappy said hello,............

Head Coach Kerwin Bell:

Founder of Trinity Catholic HS's Football Program - FL HS State Champs

Founder of JU's Football Program - 3X Conference Champs

Valdosta State HC - Undefeated season and D-2 Natl. Champs

Bell became the head football coach at Western Carolina in 2021. The Catamounts had not won more than three games for several seasons until Bell led them to their first winning record in six years in 2022.

2020 - HC Mark Speir 1-8

2021 - HC Kerwin Bell 4-7

2022 - HC Kerwin Bell 6-5

2023 - HC Kerwin Bell 7-4 -- DB Keion Crossen to the NFL

2024 - HC Kerwin Bell 5-4 currently.

After turning around the disaster W.Ca program in 2021, Bell has since gone 18-13 as a winner.
So I can see why any phootball genius believes that he couldn't be successful at a (used to be) powerhouse like UF................

A smart AD would extend Napier 2 years while cutting his buyout by 2/3.

Bu that just leads us to the other elephant in this room...
