Turmoil, fear but immense opportunity. Joshua and Caleb came back and told Moses hey we can do this. The other scouts said no way its too dangerous. Because of their cowardice they had to wander another 40 years in the wilderness until most of that generation had died off.

This is the chance and IT will affect a generation or more. Win or lose for Trump this bigger than him. I am thinking why God now? Why not a year ago? I think its a test to see if we are worthy to move forward into new prosperity or if we head into perdition which is what we deserve.

Here it is. Our greatest sin is clearly out front regarding this nomination and we have a chance to repent of it and fix it. Will we take the step into the promised land or flee in fear and be cursed for another generation. Our chance to repent will lie with the nominee and the will to confirm her so we can repent.

This is the test. Can we pass?

If the Republicans are true to themselves and their beliefs they will push through a nomination before the election and Trump will appoint his third justice. There’s no guarantees going to get reelected but if they can turn the court more constitutionally conservative it will protect this nation from an Everly increasingly left leaning democratic controlled government for at least 20 years.

Consequences be damned shove a nominee through as conservative as possible it may be your last chance for at least eight years.

There’s a great risk here in losing independents if we push through a nominee.... McConnell will be the poster child of hypocrisy
I went back and looked at the original quotes when this happened under zer0. McConnell made it clear that it was conditional on the fact that the Senate and President were of opposite parties. Thats not the case right now. But look to the media to make the hypocrisy case by ignoring what he actually said back in 2016.

Is he right? Yes....is the optics *potentially* bad? Yes

My wife, who is a staunch Dem, isn’t bothered by McConnell and Trump pushing forth a SCOTUS judge... to her it’s “ to the victor go the spoils”

Maybe after Trumps next 4 years..... she hates herself some Trump.... Polar bears
My spouse thinks Trump is okay. Because of me, mine has been close enough to black America to see serious Dimm damage. Mine can clearly see Trump benefits to American minorities along with all Americans.

I know how you feel. My wife is a staunch Trumper. I feel sorry for her. She’s going to be miserable the next four years.

I don't think so...

And the 'McConnell Rule' is that you go forward with the nominee under these conditions. I think most independents know if roles were reversed, Dems would do the same thing.

I told my congregation in a sermon a couple of weeks ago. I know God knows our fate already and I have no control over that. However, I can control my path and ask for forgiveness of my sins. I should be living a Righteous life spreading the Gospel, assisting people in need, and showing grace to my enemies. If I am doing what is right and obeying the word then what is there for me to fear?
More Than Conquerors - What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Rom 8:31.

When Biden gets elected, it must be what God wanted. Just like Obama was.

I will give it to the people that have faith, it's non-believers that I don't have to be concerned with. God bless.
Eph 5: 11 Don't waste your time on useless work, mere busywork, the barren pursuits of darkness. Expose these things for the sham they are.
So you like preaching to the choir.

I have news for you. You have no better idea of God’s intentions than anyone else. So save us the lectures.

I have an obligation to reach those that don't know our Saviour (not to the people that know him and turned away).

Well, I went hiking last week but we found our way back. Some how.

I think it was God showing me the way.
Yep. God gave you the ability to discern the correct path. It just depends on what path you want to take.

You're just a hateful person sometimes. I don't understand you and I'm not sure I want to.
Not hateful. Just observant.

The hateful ones are the ones that think all Dems are evil and all going to Hell. As some on here have said.

So God is willing to call you but he's unwilling to elect Obama, Trump or Biden to be POTUS to further His plan? Agree to disagree.
That’s fine. But He seems to be using God to justify ones own free will, rather than visa versa.

What does omnipotent mean to you?
Being all powerful, and using that power to manage every aspect of every humans free will are two different things. Even if He can, does he want to?

Which begs the question, could God make a boulder so heavy that even He couldn’t lift it?
