You were saying this same thing back in March. Remember your 'in two weeks we will be where Italy is today' talking point? You couldn't defend that one either.

The only people getting tested initially were people who were obviously very sick with hoax flu. That's why the death rate was initially high. That's why you went apeshit and said this was gonna destroy the planet. We tried to tell you then to calm down, but you couldn't think straight.

Who is being tested now? Everyone. And that means a LOT of people are being flagged who have very minor cases. That's why cases are going through the roof, as deaths go through the floor.

Let's break them down since you never thought to:

People who have hoax flu - X

Of that number X, a smaller portion is severe enough that they need to be hospitalized.

Of that number, roughly 8% died.

Now let's fill in your guess with actual numbers:

On June 1st, there were 2372 people hospitalized with hoax flu, and currently 92k active cases in NJ

So roughly 2% of the cases are severe enough to go to the hospital. And you claim of those that go to the hospital, roughly 8% die.

So by your own numbers, roughly 0.15% of the people that get hoax flu in NJ, die from it.

And NJ has the highest death rate in the nation.

Maybe you should have followed the numbers a bit closer?
