The 2020 four-star cornerback spent much of the weekend in the car after driving down from Virginia, so he just wanted to text, but Jenkins definitely enjoyed his brief stay in Gainesville.

Taylor's brother is FSU defensive back, Levonta Taylor.

"I had a great time, man," Jenkins said. "What impressed me is how they fought hard and came back that game. And I liked how the game was finished by a DB when CJ Henderson got the pick.

"The atmosphere was great."

Jenkins is a priority for 2020 and the staff wasted no time reaching out shortly after midnight on Sept. 1. He receives a whole lot of mail and recruiting edits, and the mutual interest is there.

As far as the Gators' standing, Jenkins says they're "high" in his recruitment.

"The staff was great and full of energy. You can tell they want to win."

He is fresh off a visit to LSU as well, but FSU and Virginia Tech are some additional schools to keep an eye on.
