Kalim - respectfully, do you agree that biological males should be able to compete against females? As a father of two daughters, I take significant issue to that.
As a side note, and not to you specifically, why do we never hear of biological females wanting to compete against males?
Still don't think it's that big of a deal. Not enough trans in sport. It's really a super fringe topic. There are zero trans athletes in what we call the tri-state area (PA-NJ-DE).

I can point to plenty of topics generated by one side that the media covered and had little impact because it was a fringe topic. It's normal. Just look at CRT. It didn't have the impact the Republicans thought it would have or even climate change with the democrats.
With kids today, and this is coming from the observations of my 17 year old son with regards to his classmates...

Pretty insightful if I say so myself. He acknowledges that it probably is real for a very small minority of them.
Like me, he doesn't really care either way what people do so long as he doesn't have to be involved.
Ultimately, they are scared to lose voters. The trans community is so fringe, I am not sure why they are afraid because there is zero chance the trans community runs to the Republican party.
I have a difficult time believing that men chooses to be gay but I do believe that women can choose to be lesbian. Society still views lesbian as hot and cool to an extent. Girls and guys love lesbians. Being gay is something else. Just my opinion.

It's also noteworthy that these are claims, not acts. He is saying that people are STATING that they are gay...not engaging in homosexual acts.

Also noteworthy imo that kids in middle school and high school see this differently than our generation saw it.
They largely see it as cool for either sex to be gay. Not sure male gay is "hot" like female gay was for our generation...but who knows at this point?
Very interesting about claiming. I have a co-worker that told people he isn't sure if he's gay. Never been with a man before but won't rule it out. Of course he is young. Guess it's the new generation.
To my current knowledge. Once your gay, it's still difficult for a woman to want you, knowing you once were with men.
Woman has no issues being accepted back by men after being with women.
I think it's still like that, so being gay isn't hot but I certainly can be wrong.
