No Kyle Pitts and a extremely Motivated Arkansas Razorback
team got you worried? The spread on this game on Bovada has been -17.5 Florida Gators all week until they announced Kyle Pitts won’t play and it went down all of a point and a 1/2 to 16. I think we win but it will be a late score to put it away by about 10-13. I think this is a good game to play a teaser up to 22 or 23 points along with the over as this could be another A&M game for both teams. ( And it takes the spread down 6 or 7 also )

It would be kind of cool if Franks finally won a big game at Florida. 😂😂

I'm pretty sure that Kyle Pitts was ruled out on Monday. If the line went down in the past 24-48 hours, it wasn't based on news of Pitts being held out of this game. It was most likely on people betting strongly to one side of the existing line which caused the line to shift.

No worries. If anybody knows Franks' weaknesses, it's Mullen, who spent over a year trying to hide them.

With or without Pitts, Arky can't hang with our receivers. Georgia's couldn't, and they have plenty of NFL talent. Can Arky score on us? Of course they can. Anybody can. But I expect them to play the delaying game, where they run the ball most of the time and take 40 seconds to hike it, to keep our O off the field. But that is part of the trap, because our run defense is better than our pass defense (with Campbell back), and we are much better at stopping 3rd and 3 than we are 3rd and 10. So we LIKE teams that take the air out of the ball. Plays into our hands.

After the big Georgia game, I do expect us to start a bit slow, but Arky doesn't have the talent to stop our passing game, so I expect it to be comfortable at the end.

That was the worst defense I have ever seen. The hell is nobody back to stop the RB on that play? Where was the safety help?

1 more pass TD in this game and he replaces TUA as the most TD's thrown in first 6 games in SEC history. And he did that against ONLY SEC teams unlike Tua and Joe BurrowOwl.

The defense is still a major concern. Pitts is awesome, but this Gator team has so many talented receivers it will take a tremendous defensive effort by some team to slow them down enough to beat us. But I can see a team like Bama or Ohio State simply outscoring us. But not Arkansas.

true, and they should have mentioned it, but on the other hand. Tua practically never played the4th quarter.

I kinda wonder how things would have turned out if Franks hadn’t broken his ankle in the UK game last year. Trask is clearly the better QB.

We would have lost the UK game, and Mullen would have opened up the QB competition, which Trask would have won (remember that Mullen was about to make Trask the starter in 2018 before South Carolina, but Trask got hurt and was out for the season, so Mullen had to stick with Franks, then couldn't take him out in 2019 when he was winning), and we would pretty much be in the same place, except we would have lost to you two years in a row and probably would not have had a NY6 bowl game last year.

Screwed the pooch on this one. Total spaced on the fact that Kendall Briles is their OC. Made everything I said about the pace of the game invalid. Oh well.🤣

Which is why I was not worried after UF put 4 WR's in the NFL last season, plus a 40 reception RB.

Through my eyes at present, the safety position is the vulnerable position.
Stewart and Davis can both make some great plays, but they seem to be 75/25 guys that also give up some big plays.

Relax little Lizzy, not your first,,, and unlikely to be your last... ;)

Why in then world we ever wear orange jerseys is beyond me.

we look like Clemson and the stench of the 80s.

We have had so many different coaches now that seem to want to play "dress up" with the team, that I am beginning to suspect that it's actually the administration doing this. To try to sell more jerseys.
