.....an unexpected Seattle Seahawk like choke! Gators win their 4th in a row over the cats......no analysis given! GO GATORS

I mean I know everyone expects outside of the situation for us to play them well because of a night Gameday matchup at home.. or hell I don't even know when the game is.. but it seems no one has watched this team play this year, this is not what everyone expects yearly from Billy D. The odd thing about the game is that UK is only favored by 7... like seriously? That's just either a mad trap for UK bets or just the opposite because of what I said.

Lol this is a terrible team. Hopefully Saturday crushes everyones hopes that think other wiseX

We're a very young team with a lot of weaknesses, and we're struggling. I will be happy with a lot of effort and no quit.

I will be happy if Hill can finally hit some shots for once and Walker appears to have any clue at all.

Hard to win consistently without a solid point or shooting guard. Damn do we miss Scotty.
That being said, I've only seen UK play one game this season, against Ole Miss at Rupp. UK didn't send any tingles up my spine that day. I don't know their shooting stats but that day they couldn't hit the back side of a barn outside of 10 feet from the basket. If there is a way to keep UK out of the paint with easy shots, we could win this one. I'm getting kind of long in the tooth but I remember so very horrific Gator teams beat UK in the ole Alligator Alley gym when UK had some epic teams. So this won't be impossible to happen.

What continues to baffle me is how terrible UF is at the charity line. Junior high school teams shoot free throws better than UF, and this has been a trend going on for quite some time. Free throw shooting does not require either skill nor athleticism. WTF?

To beat UK, I think three things have to occur. Florida
has to turn UK over a lot. Florida has to get the the FT line a lot and
make them. Florida has to shoot very well from the three point line.

Less than that will probably not be enough to beat UK. Sadly, I can't think of a game this year where Florida did all three.

First off, this game getting a lot of press hurts Fla, no chance of Ky coming out slow.

Second, I called Numbers bookie and took UK to cover

Me too. But for the most part this year, we have not been a second half team. Maybe that changes in the second half.

The only thing that scares me is KY might start making those 3 point shots eventually. So far they are terrible at them like us.

It has been awhile since the refs were so one sided against Florida at Florida.

Every questionable call goes against Florida

refs.....

Are we the home team or is this game in Rupp? We didn't get any calls.

I would like to add that Devin Robinson may have single handily lost us the game when he had like 4 consecutive TOs in the 2nd half.

Horford is probably the worst D1 player in the country. It boggles the mind that he is getting this much PT. Let the younger guys play and see if they will improve.

Well, I said that Florida had to do a number of things to win

1.) Turn UK over--Check- Florida created 15 turnovers and scored 11 points off those TOs. Mission accomplished
2.) Get to the FT line- Kinda check. Florida got there 14 times. UK led in this stat the whole game, long before the end of the game fouls. Most of the close calls seem to go UK's way. That is the way it works some time.
3.) Make the FTs- Fail. Florida only made seven FTs out of 14. Kesey Hill is terriuble at the line. That is unacceptable
4.) Hit a lot of threes- Not really. Florida was hot early but ended up with 6 three pointers.

All in all, Florida lost. Congrats UK.

When is everyone going to admit that the rupp refs are a REAL thing. You are just downright f***ing stupid if you can't see it. That call on Horford at the end was as Kentucky as it gets

Frazier is soft. There is a reason Billy has been on him all season long. He doesn't want it bad enough. This isn't the first time Billy has had an issue with Frazier and his willingness to compete and fight through things.

As for CeCe's dad. He is a die hard UF fan. He's even said so himself. He's the one that has brought CeCe to UF over and over again. There are other things going on with that whole situation between the mom and dad and another family member.

That is on Billy

You bashing players now? I thought that was against the rules.

CeCe's Dad showed his ass during the recruiting process. Either that or he was getting paid. In any case, he is no friend to UF.

Leo has certainly caused some problems but he is a big UF fan. He's the reason why CeCe is a big Gator fan. In some cases we have Leo to be thankful for that CeCe is a Gator. We also have Leo the headache and Leo is Leo that we have heard CeCe comment about.

CeCe is not yet a Gator. And won't be until he turns in his LOI. He was at the game tonight. One wonders why he could not bring his LOI.

I don't think you can discuss these players without bashing them, they are like watching a pinball game. We better wipe the slate clean and start over with the next class because these guys will keep us this bad for years.

Perhaps or perhaps not. We do not know the extent of Frazier's injury. Until we do, calling him "soft" is just bashing him.

Billy has indeed called out Frazier this year. But nor for being soft. For other things. He has never used the word soft or even intimated it. Not like he used them regarding Mike Rosario a few years ago.

Well to me he's even worse than that, he just doesn't care enough to give the effort needed to lead the team.

Sadly, there is not a player on the team willing to step up to that this year.

Oh look, it's Danny.

The voice of reason in a sport that is awful.

Who told everyone this would be a bad year?

Danny.

Who scoffed at the people that thought we wouldn't be this bad?

Danny.

Who's drunk?

You guessed it.

Danny

But for real though....I was right.

Danny.

I thought the Gators came out and played extremely well, if they had that same intensity earlier in the year they wouldn't be 12-11. They could easily have 15 or 16 wins, and be at least a bubble team.
Billy is an excellent coach, and Frazier and Finney-Smith are very capable and experienced. Walker is a HUGE disapointment, but Murphy and the walk on-manager play very hard. There is still time to close out on a high note and maybe get to 18 wins or so before the SEC tournament.

The game was in Rupp? I thought the officials travelled to all the venues and according to their bios, none are from the state of Kentucky. UK gets no more calls than anyone else in the SEC.
