If he didn't want to run, he would have already announced that. Not clarifying doesn't gain him any support in Florida, and does hurt him a bit. So it makes no logical sense for him to refuse to deny he's running, unless he wants to.

Perhaps the establishment has told him to wait as long as he can and give them a chance to take Trump out themselves.

But DeSantis has shown his true colors. Uniparty gray. Oh well, Kari Lake, you're up!

I think DeSantis is letting things play out. The leftist loons are still hard at task to see if they can take Trump out. I think that's why he won't say, one way or another.

Yes but made it clear DeSantis was the preferable nominee. They are dumb in a way thinking that trashing Trump more will keep him from being the nominee. These clowns would be better off saying DeSantis is the bigger danger to the world than Trump.

Too many unforced errors by DeSantis. Like right now republicans are talking about how soros 'endorsed' DeSantis over Trump. He didn't, but DeSantis once again isn't saying anything about it. Cause he doesn't want to say he's not running. He wants to see what offers the left and establishment can come up with for him.

So the rumors will continue, and each one erodes his support.
