Don't know if we have any potential on the field coaches in this category.

But unless they make the post season, any new Napier coaching hires will soon be able to exit their current NFL teams and enter Gainesville & get started recruiting & preparing for Spring Practice.

Would like for Napier to have all of the remaining on the field coaches here & ready to go ASAP; sure that he would too.

Always a question as to how well Coaches coming out of the NFL will recruit; IMO, whether or not they have a college background is a huge factor.

The large number of analyst, etc already on staff, may be able to make up for any recruiting deficiences from the NFL coaches Napier hires.

I started to say that we will find out how well all of our new coaches can recruit by Feb 2nd, NSD but I realized that was unrealistic.

To repeat an old cliche; recruiting based on relationships & nowdays NIL $$$.

The 23 days left until NSD not much time to build relationship with new coaches & doubt we have the NIL $$$ to come in & outbid the three horsemen of the SEC - A&M, Bama, Dawgs.

Should be an interesting stretch run till NSD !

Rob Sale and Karl Scott are 2 names to watch
I just read on another thread that Scott is being offered the DC position at Alabama, that their current DC Pete Golding will be out after tonight's game. Not verified, just what has been posted. And since Scott was a DB coach at Bama for 3 years before going to the Vikings this year, it does make sense.

Yes Karl Scott is a coach in high demand. Not surprised in the least.

If he is offered a full DC position we can’t offer that
