Florida has added John Garrett as a quality control assistant, according to GatorZone's UAA department directory.

Garrett was last the OC for Oregon State in 2014. Previously, he was the Dallas Cowboys' tight ends coach from 2007-12 and served as their passing game coordinator from 2011-12. After that he was the Tampa Bay Bucs' WR coach in 2013. Here's his Wikipedia bio.

According to the directory and his Twitter page, the Gators have also brought along Christian Pace as an offensive graduate assistant. Pace was a former Michigan recruit from the 2010 class who was granted a medical hardship waiver due to a shoulder injury in 2011. He's been a student assistant coach at Michigan for the past four years since.
