Swamp Donkeys are 8 points higher than Tennessee, I would point out that when Sargent Carter's 1st season was finished in 2013, UT was 13th in the SEC with an APR of 932..
As a Field Level Coach in the SEC, he stinks. But he has recruited with an eye toward recruits who understand what being a student part of Student-Athlete means and making daily study hall mandatory along with having his players working on REAL degrees and not the worthless"Urban studies" types that are as useful as the wrapper in a box of Long John Silver's Fish and More.
( I did notice that Free Shoes U seems to be lagging in the ACC)
Taken from the NCAA, the APR is calculated as follows:
Each student-athlete receiving athletically related financial aid earns one point for staying in school and one point for being academically eligible.
A team’s total points are divided by points possible and then multiplied by 1,000 to equal the team’s Academic Progress Rate.
In addition to a team’s current-year APR, its rolling four-year APR is also used to determine accountability.
