Swamp Donkeys are 8 points higher than Tennessee, I would point out that when Sargent Carter's 1st season was finished in 2013, UT was 13th in the SEC with an APR of 932..

As a Field Level Coach in the SEC, he stinks. But he has recruited with an eye toward recruits who understand what being a student part of Student-Athlete means and making daily study hall mandatory along with having his players working on REAL degrees and not the worthless"Urban studies" types that are as useful as the wrapper in a box of Long John Silver's Fish and More.

( I did notice that Free Shoes U seems to be lagging in the ACC)

Taken from the NCAA, the APR is calculated as follows:

Each student-athlete receiving athletically related financial aid earns one point for staying in school and one point for being academically eligible.
A team’s total points are divided by points possible and then multiplied by 1,000 to equal the team’s Academic Progress Rate.
In addition to a team’s current-year APR, its rolling four-year APR is also used to determine accountability.

In 3 years, UT increased it's APR by 40 points to pull within 8 of the Swamp Donkeys while the Swamp Donkeys have barely nudged at all in spite of all the Urban Studies and Physical Training degrees handed out .

So, UF remains in the upper 10% of all schools, and is already considered a Public Ivy.

Public Ivey's They are considered to be public universities that are able to compete with the Ivies at attracting the best members of faculty and potential students. Richard Moll, at the time an admissions officer in Yale, originally developed the listing in 1985.
==========

The Current Top 100 Public Ivey's -- With them being public institutions the fees vary widely between those studying In-state and those from out of state. The best value offered at the Public Ivies for instate students is provided by the #41 University of Florida ($7,347), closely followed by #100 SUNY Stone Brook. Conversely, the most expensive colleges on the list for In-state students are the PSU ($18,508), closely followed by the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

The only other public SEC school to make the list was #61 UGA.

Now, if you add in the Athletic side of the student/athlete combination, UF would jump up to #1. Why?

Because UF is the ONLY school in the Nation, public or private, to finish in the Top 10 for the Directors Cup (National All Sports Ranking) for the last 33 consecutive years.

No idea. I just know that in close games, he chokes like a cat with a stuck hairball.

I want to thank your OC for his 2nd half coma in that game in Knoxville last year. Brilliant job in the 1st half picking on 3rd string C/Bs who couldn't cover ground with a tarp. Then in the 2nd half, try to sit on a lead and go to the old 4 corner stall. 10 straight 3 and outs.

Tennessee scored more points in the 3rd quarter than the Swamp Donkeys had yards on offense.

Did anybody give your O/C a stern talking to after the game?

Have to let the Dollies crow while they can. The entire team that beat us last year is gone, and their eventual replacements got destroyed by Vandy. It's going to be at least 10 more years before they beat UF again, so it would be churlish of us to not allow them to bask in a rare win.

Tennessee should really be higher than UF. An Urban Studies degree from UF is more difficult to achieve than a Microbiology degree at UT. There is this thing called academic rigor, of which they have never heard.

It shows just how dumb the UT players are that they are this low. I have a cockatoo that could graduate from UT with honors. But probably not high honors, it is a bird, after all.

Well, it's true that you have some courses that UT does not that lifts your overall APR.

Gator snagging
Body dumping( Hernandez had a Phd in that one)
Scooter safety
Posing nekkid with sharks
Proper application of steroids so you don't get caught and suspended after 6 games.

etc, etc.

Hey, it broke an 11 game Gator winning streak. Time to start another one

I'm of the opinion that perhaps some of Instantloon's aliens decided to do some gambling, let it look like a lizzard rout to run up the odds even more, then they "Probed" your OC at half time and laid big bucks on UT.

Instantloon claims that them alien pals of his are everywhere so, anybody have a better idea for what happened?

.
