Napier Recruiting

Quashon Sapp. I guess he isn’t signing early at FSU if he plans to visit UF the week before NSD in January. He’s clearly looking to get out of FSUs class it would appear. FSU fans are already having a “fit” over this.

But see, Novell was an X and O guy at his G5.

While Billy isn’t hanging 70, he flat out turned down Auburn because they wouldn’t support his recruiting demands. Which, by the way, their fans are irate about.

sounds like his staff will have 10 to 12 times the amount of off-field recruiting staff Mullen had.

We are basically agreeing to give him a Bama/UGA recruiting structure. Which is why he supposedly turned down 4 other SEC offers

He doesn't have much time and will be multi-tasking this week as he prepares his team for their conference title game and tries to put a staff together. But I have no doubt he'll be trying to shore up the recruiting class, bring some guys back into the fold and making contact with other potential recruits. I, also, imagine he'll bring a few of his better players with him from LA-Lafayette. I already read where his top CB is probably going to transfer over to UF. I wouldn’t be surprised if we sign a few less this year during a transition class. We will see what he can do in a short amount of time.

If anyone wonders, its been hours, he isn’t on campus for a week and stuff is picking up.

F$U OL committ will now re-visit UF.

I think our talent will jump even in the short remaining time.

Sounds like he is committed to recruiting pretty hard. I also think its like when Mac left and this team has some talent especially on defense that just needs to be coached up properly. It wouldn't surprise me that much if we pulled off a 9-3 season next year if Richardson doesn't miss much time.

Would be great to have Shemar James recommit. The one downside is I hear he's been hurt this past season. Either way, I'd like him back in the mix.

I'm not down on the guy at all. Still has the Cam Newton "it" factor but seems to have nagging injuries. How are the younger guys looking?

At QB? I have no idea on what the potential is there but I am hoping that young receiver (Burke) we let play against SC can become a really good one to stretch a defense some. I think that is a receiver that would have been on the field a lot more if not for leaning on seniority.

Marcus Burke I’m pretty sure was just a true freshmen this year
