With the recent losses, Florida"s 2019 recruiting class falls back to 8th in the SEC. Lol, I think Merlin's had better recruiting classes at Moo State

Florida still has more talent than Auburn!
Florida has the better team and better coach!

Yet your coach has never won shit

Someone put his pants out for him,,, he's on fire yet again.

2 SEC-C's and 2 NC's as UF's OC/QB's, along with the only 3x Heisman finalist QB in NCAA history, (awarded Heisman in 2007).

Went 6-2 in Bowl games at freakin' Starkvegas MsSt.
In his 1st year back at UF, he took a 4-7 team with the 10th rated QB to a NY-6 Bowl 'slobber-knocker' 41 - 15 win over #7 Mich.

While the barn remained unranked.... :p

Hey Calhoun/ohsfan28/ohsfan26/24/34/21/28/36, why are you repeating another thread you started back in April? It would have been easier to bumped your thread, then again, all of are pissing you off again.

He's a shit poster. They seem to follow each other, if you haven't noticed.

It does not appear that Kentucky or Missouri we’re ranked when we played them...not sure...

Don't believe they were. This goes back to that old argument about when you talk about playing a ranked team, are you talking about the team being ranked when you played them, or ranked at the end of the year?

I've always maintained that you go by rankings at the end of the year. If we go by rankings at gametime, UCLA beat the #3 team in America in 2000, a Bama team that finished 3-8.

On the other hand, did Florida lose to unranked Kentucky (looks bad), or a Kentucky team that finished the year ranked #12 (Ok, not so bad)?

I would go by the final rankings. The good news is you beat three ranked teams, but going by final rankings, you was the highest ranked team of those you beat and those you lost to!

He lost to South Alabama, did they have superior talent?? An elite coach he is not

And Kirby lost to VANDERBILT at home. And GT at home. And a 5-7 Ole Miss team by 30. Were they more talented? Yet you mouth breathers insist he’s an elite coach.

LOL. They aren’t very bright at all!!

The selective memory is annoying. Every coach has bad losses. Saban lost to Louisiana Monroe and Urban lost to Purdue and Iowa the last two years. Dabo got 70 hung on him in a bowl game. They love to focus on Mullen's bad losses while ignoring all Kirby's shitty losses.

And every one of Bama's losses from 2010-2015 (other than the 2011 LSU game) can be hung on Kirby's defense. They ignore that as well.

4-star #5 SDE Braiden McGregor 87/247

Just finished his 'Official' visit to UF and will be announcing his commit on Friday 5-24-19.
ND in April and UF in May were his only 2 official visits.... (iG crosses fingers)

For record purposes, sadgator thinks you have to count it as “ranked at the time they played.”
Ok with that logic, losing to an unranked team is worse right? Really not trying to poke, but you would rather lose to unranked UK team than a ranked UK team?

There are worse things than to be the highest ranked team.

It is college football magazine time, and one of the must-haves is Athlon Sports, one that has been around for decades serving our needs for college football in the offseason. Athlon Sports just released their College Football Top 25 Football Rankings for 2019 on Monday and they join many that believe the Gators will be a strong group in 2019.

Steven Lassan -- “An important note on Athlon's top 25 for 2019: This is not a preseason ranking of teams going into the season. Instead, this ranking takes into account where we project teams to finish after the national championship in January.”

In terms of the Gators, Athlon believes they will finish No.8 in the country. That’s just about where they finished the 2018 season and way ahead of where the Gators started in the preseason 2018 (unranked).

~ The over/under on wins has been put at 9, but iG's looking to get lucky once or twice more than that...

"Mullen's 2nd team features a major question mark along the OL, but another double-digit win total is within reach.”

Sounds like they agree with what iG's been saying for awhile now...
Lassan and Athlon goes on to promote Florida rsJr QB Feleipe Franks, Sr RB Lamical Perine and his running mates, and boasts about the receiver group at Florida speaking out about rsSr Van Jefferson, and Jr Kadarius Toney as reasons for the Gators to make a run.

OR,,,, you can buy into the buttsniffers drivel, that the Gators chitty coach, low ranked players, and delusional fans...

So when dancing Dan lost to the powerhouse south Alabama, it was his first year as a head coach? Think it’s cute that you try to compare south Alabama to GT, ole miss, and Vandy.

Yes, but losing to lower ranked teams won't get you to the championship discussion.

In 1996, 2006, and 2008 Florida lost to lower ranked teams. As they finished #1, any loss would be to a lower ranked team..
