~ McElwain was asked last week how he views Del Rio’s role next fall, and predictably and understandably he was less than clear. --
WoW! More FLASH NEWS that is....

* I know, let's just go ahead and give LDR another shot at being the Gator starting QB. That should really fill the SWAMP up with excited Gator fans all right....
15
--- Are Jack and Lil' Bill coming back for another chat with Mc? ;)

~ Actually, they should just go ahead and give the starting QB job to Franks, cause I believe that he might be able to throw more Int's in a season than those other 2 Clarabel's did combined (13)....

We should have figured Insta would hang our QBs out to dry after a few picks. :(

slaughter as least had some offense in the ring, but with about the same amount of 5 move set= to power plays for Addazzi

Mc-Nuss QB's for the 2016 season: LDR + Happyby = co-Clarabels o_O

LDR - 6 starts, 1,358 yds, 8 TD's, 8 Ints
Happyby - 7 starts, 1,225 yds, 8 TD's, 5 Ints.

The Combined Gator QB's Among All 14 SEC Teams:
#14 for PFF QB Ratings 1 > 100 - LDR 56.7 - Happyby 57.4

#13 Interceptions (13)
#10 Yds/Rec 6.7 (mostly dink & dunk junk)
#8 Total Season Passing Yards 2,583
#8 Total Passing TD's (16)

On passes that traveled 20+ Yds in the air, Del Rio completed 5-of-28 (17.9%) for 228 Yd's, 2 TD's, 3 In's. While Appleby was 9-of-26 (34.6%) for 353 Yd's, 2 TD's, 1 Int. (Combined 4 TD's, 4 Int's)

Man, I sure was dumb for suggesting that true Fr Trask should be the 2016 QB....
11
--- The W/L might not have been any better with Trask, but at least right now we'd have more answers than questions for the coming 2017 season, instead of it being the other way around...

~ That transfer QB 'quick-fix' worked so well in 2016, that they wanted to do it again for 2017.
Thank gawd that Stid-Ham chose to go to the pig-barn instead....

I am tired of you disrespecting the kids. Coaches are grown, they are fair game. And a fair discussion of who is playing well and who is struggling, also no issues. But stop calling kids giving their heart and soul for your school CLARABELLS.

When u sign up for big time college football which is a billion dollar industry, yes, u are susceptible to criticism. The "kids"(18-23 yr olds) will be fine. Stop coddling young people, its not good for us

12th way you have proven yourself an idiot since you showed up.

Jesus man. These kids walk around campus like hot stuff, get treated like hot stuff, so we arent suppose to tell them they arent as great as they think they are when they flat out suck becuz they dont want to study the playbook or put in the work? Dont think so. Billions of dollars are being exchanged and they DESERVE credit and blame for achieving goals and falling short. Its the way of the world. The coddling needs to stop. It creates self entitlement which is the worst cancer a young person can have.

I would also put my education up against yours anyday. You dont seem like the type that is some genius or even close to it

I tend to agree some. 2 ways of looking at it I guess. I sometimes feel a little bad jumping on a kid even online if you know he is putting the effort in. QBs you get that a lot. Like with Driskel before who just doesnt have it upstairs and now with LDR who is too limited physically.

One thing's for sure, nobody has damaged your ego. You don't seem to have a problem with telling all of us how superior you and your intellect are.

That being said, you can be truthful and even critical of an amateur athlete, a kid, without being hateful or calling silly names. And yes they are kids. Maybe you don't understand that because you are still a kid. I'm not in favor of coddling them or being politically correct. I also am definitely opposed to the "everybody gets a trophy" mindset. But calling names and making it personal is wrong in any context.

Something for you to put in your pocket for the future; the first sign of real wisdom is truly learning that you don't know or understand everything and the admission that you don't truly control anything. I don't care HOW MUCH education you think you have.

First off your last paragraph is just non sense. I know everything i need to know and i can control certain aspect of life. Its not just smarts that i have, its common and the ability to look at things from all angles and not be bias.. I hate sounding this way but i know(not think) that 99% of the time i am the smartest person in the room. Im not saying that or meaning it in a derogatory way, i really believe it, i know it to be true. I love when people can match me wit for wit. Its awesome but doesnt happen very often.

Not thinking like a kid. Im married with a kid...so im not speaking as a kid. Not every 18 to 23 yr old is created equally. Some of them are much more mature than some 30 and 40 yr olds. Some arent. But dont lump them into one category as if they are all jus snot nosed kids who know nothing.

I agree with the rest tho(including the ego, i have a lot of confidence in myself). Criticizing is fine, calling them a name on a message board is really no big deal tho. Its the morons screaming at them from the stands as they walk into the locmer room that i dont agree with. Talking bad about them behind their back where they dont know it and will nvr find out is not a bad thing. I did it to u earlier when i was talking to my wife

Read my post again, this is exactly what I was talking about. It's as if you were trying to type an example of someone who is still too young and smart to be wise. And no buddy, you don't control ANYTHING

After everything i typed u only focused on the 1st paragraph. Shame. I do control A LOT of stuff. I set my alarm for 8am this morning(i chose this). I chose to eat eggs. I picked to eat it with a cake fork instead of a long dinner fork. Your saying, someone else controlled those things?

Your FSU education? Freshman orientation at UF equates to most 4 year FSU degrees. That education of yours certainly didn't help your reading comprehension, for example where I stated that a discussion of their shortcomings was legitimate, and that I was only concerned with their being called names, such as "Clarabel".

And you know, I think I'll stack my 20 years as a CPA against anything you've got.

And Lizzy, thanks again for the many belly laughs that you have, and continue to provide me with. :p --- You're almost as laughable as the sore-keester is...

You didn't go to FSU? You're a T-shirt fan?

So you were wandering through Wal Mart, saw a T-shirt colored dried catsup and mustard, realized this was a shirt you could eat a hot dog while wearing and nobody would know it dripped on you, and suddenly a new FSU fan is born. smh

Some talk we may get some nice recruits at the end. If Mac could pull off a # 5 SEC class somehow that would probably be around 10th nationally I may have more faith in him going forward.

You set the alarm and that's great until the power goes out. You chose eggs and that's fine until the refrigerator quits or the stove catches fire and burns the house down or lightning strikes or you have a brain aneurism.

In other words, you control things.....until you don't. Control is an illusion. You will NEVER have real control over anything. Ever.

Yet none of that happened, bunch of ifs. So i willl give u one, If it did happen, i would control my next move and go buy eggs at a restaurant. Your famous line should be, u cant control everything, not, you cant control anything.

I have been an fsu fan since i was 2 or 3 and my dad would take me to games. Havent missed one in almost 20 yrs. Jus becuz I have a favorite team doesnt mean i HAVE to go to school there. Education and football are seperate to me. Did you go to your favorite NFL teams facility everyday? No.

My gawd every time u open ur mouth i get surprised again

Really smart guy: I control my fate.

Pretty smart guy: Control is an illusion.

Really smart guy: Oh yeah? What about the eggs I ate for breakfast?

Yup. He is master of all he surveys. What I want to know is, since he KNOWS he's the smartest guy in the room 99% of the time, then who is the 1%? He must have a monthly coffee with Einstein. SMH.

He's pretty tight with Insta, so I'm sure he's comparing math notes with Alpha-Centarans, Vulcans and L Ron Hubbards' Thetans
