Saturday afternoon against South Carolina in Columbia, the Gators will be going against the worst pass defense in the SEC. The Gamecocks have been gouged for 301.4 yards per game. There are holes in that defense to be found. With a more complete complement of skill weapons at his disposal, this is a game that Mertz should have plenty of opportunities to fling it down the field.
