I seem to recall the last 18 months of Prez Toupee being the largest contraction in more than 70 years. Gas was down because of the reduced economy, interest rates were down because of the reduced economy, unemployment was down because nobody was allowed to go to work (but then later soared), the reality is it all went to crap under Trump.
BTW, unemployment isn't up. It's DOWN. It was 6.2% when Biden came into office, last month it was 3.4%, lowest in 50 years. The low unemployment is a factor in why we have inflation, because companies are desperate for people and paying more, higher salaries mean company expenses are up and they have to charge more, putting upward pressure on pricing. Interest rates are up because the fed is pushing up rates, trying to cool off inflation.
Booming economy under Trump. Yeah, first two years, reaping the benefits of the great situation Obama left him. On his own? Garbage. I would give him a pass for the economy because of COVID, but it was his ridiculously bad handling of it that put us in this mess, so I have to take back the pass. He is literally the coach who inherited a great team, won a lot at first, then when he got his own recruits it all fell apart due to the lack of talent and his poor management, leaving a mess for the next guy to clean up.
As for Putin, Russia was busy assimilating Crimea and gearing up to go after the Ukraine during the Trump administration because Trump was busy sucking that Putin D and he had no reason to fear us. Did you see Trump get after Putin at all for Crimea? Nope, just said how much he admired him. SMH.

So what is better under Biden? Economy is better. Foreign relations are better. American's health is better. The number of Americans in poverty dropped under Biden. The number of uninsured Americans dropped under Biden. We don't have a president that spends all day watching Fox News and tweeting. As for inflation, that's a reaction to the economic destruction caused by the Trump administration fiasco in dealing with COVID. The massive economic contraction under Trump was followed by a massive economic expansion under Biden. Which I do not give Biden credit for, only that it happened under his watch, as it was the restarting of the economy, which would have happened no matter who was president. Yes, even under Trump. But anybody who thinks we would not have had an increase in gas prices and high levels of inflation under Trump is fooling themselves. Those are the result of massive shifts in economic activity. Might as well blame Biden for a tsunami that resulted from an earthquake.
