Exactly. Morning outside, to stay acclimated to the heat and humidity. Afternoons inside, to avoid the rain and keep from getting too worn down.
There was a time I would argue you need practice in the rain in case you play in the rain, but we so rarely get rain without lightning, the games tend to get stopped anyway until it clears up. We still need wet ball drills, but I'm sure they are doing those.

The lightning issue has pretty much stopped teams playing in the rain, and we don't have much issue with snow.
And that would be just fine,,, IF they also played those Sept/Oct games in the IPF....
We used to see this as a part of UF's 'home field advantage' the same way that UK and Mizzou see Nov-Dec games in their house as a 'home field advantage.'
With the IPF, our guys no longer have that conditioning advantage over their opponents.
Our coaches used to say the same thing. In HS we’d have two a days and you got one water break each practice. That was before people knew any better. You’d legitimately lose 5 lbs. in water weight every practice of fall camp. Don’t miss those days.

Bunch of bulls..t my friends. Very highly overrated .!! That is not what causes the decision . Unfortunately today’s millennial is driven by Bernie Sanders.. what is in it for me????? Well the good news is football is getting significant upgrades, the softball team has a newly renovated stadium, and the baseball team is getting a brand new stadium.
That's just the recent 'tip of the iceberg' concerning Gator sports and the UAA.

About time at least something was done . Now it will be nice when the facility is built and Foley's crappy ways (we aren't getting into a spending war) is finally gone when it comes to this stuff. Coaches use that stuff in recruiting big time and now we just keep showing them our big plans for the last 5 years.
Those are nice. Bout damn time. You look at those old locker rooms and it’s not hard to see why we struggled recruiting. We’re behind all our rivals on facilities and have been bad for a long time but people act like Mullen was supposed to come in here and start landing top 5 classes ASAP. No perspective.
FWIW the pics that Fever posted wasn’t the pics of the old locker room. It was pics of a lockeroom in the middle of construction. Fever either does it intentionally hoping he can get away with it or he is the most clueless person on the internet.

Personally, I don't give a chit about their dressing rooms, and they should be a lot more worried about their academics, since so few of them will ever even have an NFL contract, much less be one of the big time millionaire's.
Give them a nice shiny dressing room now, so that 3-4 years later they can either hand out burgers or ride on the back of a refuse truck...
