I think some people confuse the point.
Im sure there are some fans that do expect us to be in the Sweet 16, if not the Elite 8, every year.
so be it.
my problem is that we seem to barely sneak our way in, usually put in the first weekend, and the main reason for that being the number of head scratching losses.
I still blame this on his "offense." We get incredibly cold, slow down the pace, and do little to adjust. I don't understand what in the world he's trying to do there.
I don't even like the shot selections most of the time.
we tend to not be a good second half team, and that screams poor coaching.
I think, with the talent weve had, that a coach with a better philosophy would be vying for titles and deeper runs in the tournament.
to think we can't find that guy, well....Alabama says hello.

We would only miss the tourney if there is a huge collapse with it being 68 teams now. Even with White's mess in the past upcoming we would make the tourney this season.
Let me clarify a little - I don't see any way we don't go if we are 10-8 in the SEC with that WV win out of conference.
On another note I bet they would put KY in the tournament as an at-large if they got their act together a little and fought their way to .500 by the end of the SEC tournament. 19-15 is the worst previously but they would argue their schedule or something. A Tenn loss today would probably end their hopes of that however and they might have to win the SEC tournament.

10-8 puts us on the bubble. We are 6-4 right now, and with our remaining 8 games I could easily see 9-9. 11-7 in my opinion would put us in comfortably.
Kentucky is terrible. They aren’t making the tourney unless they win the SEC Tournament. There is a good chance they don’t even make the NIT.
Last night probably ended any chance of an at-large short of almost running the table but watch White blow another game to them. Wouldn't surprise me.
I guess these cancellations might help avoid a bad finish also if we were in line for that mess again.
