The NFL salary cap per team is $255 million this year.

That gets spread between 53 players.

So the average is $4.8 million per player.


The very high end of college NIL budgets is $20 million.

That gets spread between 85 players.

So the average is $235k per player.


HUGE DIFFERENCE

The problem, of course, is that every college player thinks he deserves something close to what NFL players are making. RIDICULOUS.

Colleges need to pare their rosters down to 53 or so as well... and then they need to show the kids how FEW of them are ever going to be worth what they are asking for.
