Mac knew the OL was short why didn't we sign some JUCO midterms?

It isn't a surprise to anyone that we have less then 10 offensive linemen left over. Mac was hired early enough and we kept our OL coach so why didn't we sign a couple of JUCO midterm players to come in and help us?

They would be better than having 250lb walk on OL playing extensive time this spring.
