LSU WILL FIRE BRIAN KELLY…

Watching LSU reminded me of the Willie teams at FSU. Players not caring, dumb penalties, injuries while celebrating, can't get out of your own way, etc. He doesn't seem to be connecting well with those players, he looked like a fish out of water with them. Maybe he needs time to get his players, he's been successful everywhere he goes but imo fit matters so much and timing matters as well. Not sure either are in his favor

Yep for him to make it the fans have to be willing to write off this season.

Yep. They haven’t been good the last 2 years. LSU fans have to be a little patient. I do think he’s a good coach but I have questioned if he is a “cultural fit” from day 1.

You said you had seen that QB play before? What did he look like at his old school? I don't see him lasting being that thin running around so much like that but maybe he is one of those guys like Alex Smith was at Utah and just shakes it off and can take the pounding despite being built like that.

Pretty sure he was at Arizona St before. He wasn’t very good at all. But yes he is definitely a dual threat. Maybe he will improve.

Saban would likely have gone for 2.
Miles would definitely have gone for 2 with a fake PAT play.
Ogre probably would have followed suit.

Kelly broke the mold of the three previous LSU coaches and ended up paying for it.

LSU fans are more impatient than we are.

LSU did have all the momentum. They probably should of gone for 2.

Going for two was exactly on my mind before they scored. Line up for two and if Kelly didn't feel comfortable with it, take the penalty and send it into OT.

Not sure on that. I think being at home you usually go for OT but that isn't taking into account the kicking struggles that night.

The LSU QB battle was supposedly dead even between Jayden Daniels, the Arizona State transfer, and redshirt freshman Garrett Nussmeier. Kelly said they had performed evenly in fall camp, but he chose to start Daniels because of his speed. He did say before the game that both guys would probably play in the game, although that didn't happen.

I'll never understand why (I know it's ego) a coach would leave a situation in College like Notre Dame when you're having great success you're going to have a couple of big games a year to win in order to make a major bowl or have a shot at it all...outside of that you'll always enjoy 9, 10, 11 win seasons and be a legend. These guys always go to the NFL or a Team that, unless you really win big all the time you're out in a few years and usually it ends badly.
