First off, not everyone in the database who claims an offer has a committable offer. Also, there are kids with offers who aren't listed in the database.
Having said that, the Rivals database shows 157 kids with Florida offers.
Breakdown by state
FL 63
GA 31
AL 10
TX 7
NC 5
CA 5
LA 5
SC 4
OH 4
VA 4
Notes: It isn't surprising that 40% of the early offers are to in-state kids and the number swells to almost 60% when you add Georgia to the mix. That should be about what you would expect - if not a tick higher. Alabama has clearly become the third option for this staff, overtaking the mid-Atlantic. Surprising to see so many early offers in Texas. As Tom Herman gets the Longhorns rolling, that would seem like a waste of time.

FSU 8
Miami 4
Clemson 3
Ohio State 3
Florida 2
Alabama 2
Kansas 2
LSU 2
Penn State 2
Notre Dame 2
Michigan 2
Auburn 1
USC 1
Texas A&M 1
Tenn 1
VT 1
Louisville 1
Notes: Of course who a kid is currently committed to doesn't' necessarily mean that is who he will sign with. For it being less then a month into this cycle, almost a quarter of Florida's outstanding offers have already pulled the trigger though.
Breakdown by Ranking
Rivals100: 55
Rivals250 (101-250): 45
Notes: Again, it is early, but the process is beginning earlier and earlier each year. Florida has offered 40% of the top 250 prospects in the nation. It will be interesting to see how these stats compare to the final Rivals250. If that percentage rises significantly or not.
Breakdown by Stars

Notes: The Gators have offered 10 of the 15 prospects who are currently rated as five-stars.
