10,000 percent right. Now, outside of close friends or business colleagues, I do not know who would give money to Asa. Seems like a pure waste of dollars.
Also - if he wants to move the party to the center, adding in more candidates to draw down from DeSantis is not a smart move.
Increasingly, right or wrong, I am of the mind that it will be Trump in 2024 versus Biden unless Trump has some significant health issue that prompts him to leave the race.
Good news is the orange jump suit will blend right in with his skin, he'll look pretty monochromatic.

Why what? Biden will run again - and the more health issues the better. His administration runs the government, not him. Love or hate Clinton and Obama, these were very sharp and high energy individuals who weighed in on every policy. That is not (nor has ever been) Biden. So, if you are a liberal/progressive and want to shape policy in subtle ways, and you think Biden can win in 2024, of course you want him to run.
Good question. See above. The question is simply, do you (the democrats) think he can beat Trump head to head. They fear DeSantis, but there is no way that Trump is going to bow out unless his cardiologist (oncologist, or other specialist) says so.
Biden is a symbol and a permission slip, not a person per se.
So, if they will rationalize, consciously or not, "in true democratic fashion, I am voting for a system of people and policies, not an individual. The MAGAs are voting for an individual - proving, once again, that they are the true fascists and authoritarians".
All forms of government, MSM, academia, etc. will be mobilized, at some level, against the person, they see as an existential threat. The power of it is that it is organic. It is not centered on a single person, but rather a (somewhat) cohesive belief system. Most of the above are liberals, college educated and vote D.

Why would Trump not run if he has significant health issues? Biden has proved that POTUS doesn't need to be healthy.
Ultimately that is up to Trump. I am just saying that very little will dissuade Trump from a run. Health issues would likely be the only thing.

Trump works 20 hours a day. And seems to get twice as much accomplished in a day as people half his age.
Pushing 80, there's always a greater chance of health issues obviously, but he seems to be in excellent health for his age. Mentally and physically.

She apparently thinks the dems didn't cheat in 2020 and beat Trump fair and square. Apparently that's why she thinks dems want Trump to be their opponent in 2024.
If the dems try to suspend the 2024 election, which I believe they will, that will prove her theory is wrong. If that happens, it will be interesting to see how she handles it.
I noted in an Asa Hutchinson campaign add his call for morality principles. In my minds' eye I immediately imagined Asa Hutchinson with his pants down around his ankles and being bent over a table while in his rear Creepy Joe Biden has his hand on Alvin Braggs' shoulder saying "you go first".
No I'm pretty sure she thinks it's because he's so divisive he will inspire people to vote against him.

My man Rush said it best. The goal of Democrats is to do away with free and fair elections. They won't suspend it, they'll rig it like the last two, 2022 was a carbon copy in the usual suspect swing states. Arizona, PA, and Georgia for sure. I didn't follow MI and WS so not sure there.
1) same playbook as during covid, unsolicited ballots mailed to unverified addresses-also unverified voter registration rolls
2) no hard cutoff of those ballots, still allowing them to be mailed day of election (need to know how many they might need to offset election day deficits)
3) Ballot harvesting
4) Unverified mailed ballot signatures tying to actual actual voter rolls
5) Dominion software integrity...........completely an unknown
That's all I can think of without doing any searching.

Regarding #2, disallowing ballots that were mailed by Election Day but are not received until after, is too easy to exploit by slowing down the post.
That's why you cut if off several days or a week prior to election day, just like what happens with early voting. This is not rocket science. Didn't mail your ballot X number of days prior to election?, take your happy ass to the polls on election day.
