Well he had plenty of chances to change at LSU and didn't...that's what got him fired. And he was always meddling with the offense. Offenses weren't that good at OSU either. Nothing in his history shows he even wants to try to adapt, he's damn near 70 now I doubt he just had an epiphany. That's who he is as a coach.

Agreed. You need to get lucky and get a good X’s and O’s coach at a place like Kansas. Whose he going to recruit to go there? Sure he may recruit better than they have in the past but not that much better to make up for his lack of in game coaching. Not to mention he had the entire state of Louisiana to himself at LSU. It really isn’t that hard to recruit there.

People in Louisiana are loyal to that school...too...it's all about the Tigers.
