Stevens is a right-handed pitcher from Palm Coast, Fla., who will join the Gators this fall.
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida softball coach Tim Walton and his staff are excited to announce the addition of in-state pitcher Leah Stevens with the signing of her athletics aid agreement on Wednesday.
"We're really excited to add a great kid and keep a very talented in-state pitcher home," Walton said. "Leah is a great addition to our program, both on the field and in the classroom."
Stevens becomes the fourth member of the Florida 2025 signing class, joining future teammates Makenna Bellaire, Kalie Matsuno and Kylie Shaw.
"I chose Florida for the winning team culture, academics and opportunities in the aerospace industry," Stevens said.
"I want to compete for championships, conduct research on rocket systems and become an Academic All-American. I also want to be a multidimensional pitcher on the field."
