Keyontae Johnson Update

"Florida Gators fans hoping to see Keyontae Johnson back in an orange and blue uniform in 2021-22 will have to continue to wait.

"No change in status. Has not been cleared to this point, but he's very much a big part of what we're doing," head coach Mike White said following the team's first full practice of the season. "He was down there today. He's really good."

Hopefully, he takes as much time as needed and not rush anything. Still, even though it's not my business, I am curious as to what's holding up his clearance to play since it's been 9 months.

If he wants to play he may have to go somewhere else if its a case of differing opinions of doctors. Some may say if he follows certain things the risk is low enough to allow him to make the decision while others won't. UF may have the more cautious mindset. Are there others playing elsewhere with about the same set of circumstances here?
