...our D linemen need to get their hands up. Chad Kelly's biggest weakness is the low release and the flat trajectory of his balls. I counted at least 4 or 5 blocked passes in the Bama game, and it ain't no coincidence. Remember how Driskell used to get passes blocked all the time, yet it would happen less often against the shorter Harris, and it has NEVER (I think) happened against Grier? Again, it ain't no coincidence. Actually one of my favorite qualities about Grier is how he can vary the release to throw around the rusher, it's pure instincts, can't teach that. That also means Kelly can't correct this problem, probably ever. We don't need to get to him every down, we just need to get close enough and get our hands up, and it'll be just as effective.
