I am astonished. This makes me terribly sad. He was a great poster, and a great gator. I had no idea.
Jeffery Simmons, preseason AA this year. Kid should never been allowed on campus. No tolerance for that kind of stuff.
To be fair, that's not the whole story. Simmons walked in a room and saw a girl beating up his sister and he immediately ran over and knocked her off and away from his sister. Still not at all behavior that should be condoned, but the part about the girl he hit beating up his sister is always left out.
Hard to say but on the video they were outside and not in a room and him and another girl (maybe his sister) were viciously pounding a female on the ground. He looked out of control while doing it. If it wasn't MSU I doubt they would have got away with not sending him packing.

Watkins will probably have a Department of Corrections number assigned to him pretty soon. The kid appears to be lost upstairs.
This has Mississippi JUCO written all over it followed by one of the above mentioned universities if he stays clean.

Arrested July 22, for the 2nd time since May....
Less than 3 weeks on UF's campus, not even one day of football practice before his indefinite suspension, likely leading to a dismissal from UF.
This will not prevent rival trolls and other 'Gator Haters' from giving UF FULL CREDIT for all of this kids inherent problems...
As to any 'big' hit' on the 2018 class, as high potential as the kid had as an athlete, he would not have been a starter at either of his positions (WR/CB) in 2018.
Of course on National Signing Day, you were proclaiming him to be one of the best players in the country and how Mullen was the greatest coach ever for landing him.
I guess the better question is why was no discipline handed out after the first arrest? Why was he not suspended from all team activities before the 2nd arrest? But, you are the one that likes to give credit to the administration AFTER the fact, like they are ruling with an iron fist over there.

Dan Mullen was a great coach long before now. When he was UF's OC, did your rubber-dollies ever beat him? (crickets)

He didn't arrive at UF until Summer-B in June. He pleaded to the 1st arrest, damage to a cell phone and kicking her car, not her, and was placed on probation.
As soon as the 2nd arrest happened, he was suspended indefinitely.
He saw the writing on the wall, and so he has resigned from UF almost immediately after his 2nd arrest and being indefinitely suspended from all UF team activities.
