Terry and Marv anounced they are back

Stanford Samuels and Akers announced they are leaving.

CJ Henderson is leaving. Kyree Campbell is returning. Still waiting to hear from about 3-4 others that are playing in the bowl game tonight.

I have heard Marco Wilson and Toney are leaving and Trevon Grimes is staying and not sure about Slaton.

Toney could improve his draft stock A LOT if he comes back another year and is more involved in the offense. He has got to be the most under utilized offensive weapon in the nation.

JMOHO of course, but both Toney and Wilson need another year at UF.

Can they go?
Yep.
Should they go?
Nope, at least not in iG's opinion.

The only way they should leave early, is if they are stupid or lazy students and are in danger of not meeting the academic eligibility standards in 2020. o_O

Neither of them has had a 'huge impact season' in 2019, and the NFL is a quantum leap tougher with physically mature 'grown men' earning a living at what they do.

Are getting the ones back who would make a huge difference?

Paco,

Sorry to hear that. Players always seem to have someone in their ear extolling their virtues / skills. However, only so many picks in each NFL draft round.

Toney injured most of 2019; as a result his stats show very little -

2019...9.......195...1......21.7.......11.........58......0
2018..25..... 260 ..1......10.4 ......21 .......240.....0

IMO, if Toney leaves, he will be a Jachai Polite, hopefully without the poor attitude, but I'm not sure he will even be drafted; more likely to be an un-drafted free agent.

Realize that interior DL seldom shine in a stats way, Slaton's is massive -6'5" 358 lbs, but career tackles not so much thus far in his career. With Adam Shuler graduating, more playing time could be heading his way; if he returns.
Again, IMO, more likely to be an un-drafted free agent.

If Wilson still thinks he should leave early for the NFL - he needs to remember these two names -

Hasise Dubois &
Terrell Jana

Virginia ran same play with same receivers several times in a row in he 2nd half; Wilson & rest of our secondary were powerless to stop them.

Lee McGriff, from a poor angle in the end zone, was able to see the Virginia line up & called their pass plays every time; why couldn't Gator secondary see it coming & defend it ?

If you look at thread titles on Whorechant, it’s hilarious how the Holes expect zero drop off with a new coach and are already busy predicting double digit wins with the return of these two players.

Toney is still iffy on what he is doing from what I have heard. Last night's performance did not help his stock.

Their Oline is still horrible and they did not adequately address it during recruiting. Soft schedule will help them, but they are 2-3 years away from being competitive again.

Country,

Looking at War Chant, FSU currently has 18 commits, 4 of whom are OL - 3-3*, 1-4*.

Room for them to sign more, but hard to think FSU will be able to attract any elite OL this late in the recruiting wars.

True FR OL bring little to the table that 1st year, so, IMO, WYSIWYG for FSU OL for next year.

Transfer portal more likely to yield results; saw listings for these OL with immediate eligability -
Terrance Davis 4* OG from Maryland
Kellen Diesch 4* OT from aTm

But, like Chris Bleich (now at Syracuse) there is a reason for them to transfer

They have decent athletes, but man sakes that offensive line is below average. Again, not a stellar job with the incoming class. Portal could help them, but we will see. If they don't get that fixed they are looking at 3-5 losses next season even with a fairly soft schedule.
