I wouldnt call it solid but the win kept it from being a real big letdown. I think myself and many others saw 3 losses coming but we didnt know the Spring game masked LDRs limitations so much. Well I guess you could see some possible issues with his weak throws when pressured but with that vanilla defense the Spring game didn't highlight them.
I agree on the LDR but IMO it was a solid season...did we play solid? Not all of the time...and it was ugly at times but good bowl showing, we won all of the games that we should have and had a great win at LSU. The QB play was certainly disappointing to say the least. There are a lot of questions on this team and what appears to be a lack of talent...big concern in recruiting. However going into this season outside of the QB play most on this board expected less. A lot more worried about the push forward (as an overall team) going into next year. We need a QB that can make some plays. We get that and we'll push forward as an offense...if we don't get some solid QB play then it will be more of the same.
