Yet after the 2018 season, Florida (#6) finished ranked higher than Georgia (#8).
The season doesn't end after the game in Jacksonville!

Of course I am looking at the negative side, just as you guys did with Fields. But you have to see that the main reason this thread was started was because of the comments made by your coach. Can’t beat teams? We’ve only lost 2 regular season games in 2 years and haven’t lost to an east team since 2017. One of our losses was to Bama in the SECCG. Another was an uninspired effort vs a Texas team playing their Super Bowl, just like Florida vs meatchokin.
Florida only moved up cause they won may be the dumbest spin ever uttered on a Rivals board.

It's a message board brother, a specifically oriented message board for Florida Gators fans. Georgia is our main SEC rival, of course you are going to hear some trash talk. If I ever found my way over to your board I would just take it with a grain of salt. If you want sound and reasonable conversation WITHOUT homerism, I recommend you stick to tiddly winks or curling.

As we're already seeing, Kirby needs a massive talent advantage to overcome his questionable coaching skills. He's another Ed Orgeron: Great recruiter, solid defensive position coach, average at best head coach.

Rumor - ITG staff has also learned there have been disciplinary issues surrounding Jones since his arrival on campus. It is an off the field issue we've learned. Just lots of things that piled up and I imagine coaches had had enough.

Not quite sure what you mean. I'm a Gator fan who generally speaks positively about the Gators. If you attack the Gators and are a fan of a rival team (Georgia) then I will most likely snap back. Sometimes irrationally. That's why I am a FAN-ATIC. It's all in good fun.
What irony? What KARMA? The situations are entirely different. Your coach lied to and misused Fields, who left after dealing with prejudice. Jones broke rules, or maybe laws (I have heard no specifics), and he got kicked off the team. These situations have nothing in common other than a player leaving a program. Zero.
Personally, I'm DAMN happy Mullen is taking a hard line. Meyer was super soft and it eventually ruined the program to the point he felt it was unfixable and he had to bail. We are seeing now that Mullen learned from that and won't put up with nonsense.

You guys are trying to make a lot of hay out of our Oline having lost several players. But they were a second round pick and a bunch of undrafted guys. Pretty confident we won't have a dropoff from that level of talent. Hell, the line looks like it will be better, just younger. Our WR corp is fantastic, Our QB looks light years improved, we have a bunch of dynamic running backs, our secondary will be a strength, which will allow us to play with a lot more pressure from the front seven. As for your continued harping on losses, we lost to KY early, when the team was still learning the new systems, and UGA and Missouri when the secondary was decimated by injury.

No. I started the thread because a UF player is transferring out. ought it might be an interesting topic to discuss. But as usual, the insecure UGa fans had to turn it into something about themselves.
Can I play? A baseball player used derogatory, racial slurs when he wanted the coaches to put JF into the game. The player was kicked out of school, made an apology to JF, and the two are "on good terms" according to articles on the internet. Looks like the player transferred to another University and has hit 20 homeruns this year. Karma! UGA lost a great player from two different sports on the same play.
Justin Fields didn't apply for immediate eligibility. Ohio State applied for him to be eligible is my understanding.
Fields hasn't said that. Do you think his sister would be going to UGA if this were the case?

Our improvement in year 2 was largely due to the fact that draftable juniors bought in to Kirby's culture change and returned for their senior years.

That's too bad. There's kids that would give anything to be in that position in a major college program. Since he's announced he's in the transfer portal, is UF allowing him to save face in lieu of sending him packing?
