So I saw a clip from this interview. In the clip I saw, Tucker lied his ass off. First, he asked Cruz what the current population of Iran was, and Cruz didn't know. They go back and forth, then Tucker claims 'you don't know anything about Iran'.

Then Cruz mentions the US is supporting Israel. Tucker says just a minute, you are breaking news here. Because the Trump admin just stated tonight that the US is NOT leading any attacks on Iran. Which is completely different from what Cruz stated.

The upside to the US of Iran not having nukes is the existence of our only ally in the Middle East, the threat of widespread a nuclear war (Israel has nukes), and the existence of half of all Jews in the world.

I mean you tell me how you reconcile this with what’s going on currently. “Oh it’s because Iran really really has wmds, they promise.” You all sound soft headed.

1) Iraq war was built on lies, and it required boots on the ground. So far I don't see any indication we're planning on putting our troops on the ground.
2) If you want to believe that Iran didn't just get caught lying about uranium enrichment, that's on you. It's a known fact. Why, when they had Uranium that was more than capable of producing nuclear energy, would they need to continue to enrich to weapons-grade levels?

Maybe you haven't been on the earth long enough to realize that every situation is not exactly the same. Trump put a deal on the table to avoid this, this was not option #1. Iran didn't take the deal, so Israel is doing what's necessary for them to survive.

Nothing about this is the same as the Iraq war.

It dealt with Iran and the Ayatollah. These people were bad news. I proceeded to tape the paper which featured the face of the Ayatollah to my swing set. I then commenced target practice. I went all Davy Crockett and Alvin York on his face.

Iran began my journey into politics, my early alignment with republicans, my love for Reagan and an introduction to Islam.

46 years! I would have thought we would have dealt with this sooner but...10 year old me was going to be an astronaut, Captain Kirk, fight the Russians in space and colonize mars before I became old at 31 in the ominous year 2000.

I am strongly against any invasion or occupation of Iran. I tend to think that if we think we can hit the main nuke sites with the bunker busters, then we should and be done with it…. Nothing more, nothing less. I’m skeptical of regime change, but I am open to the idea. I wonder who fills the power vacuum. However, I view Russia as a rational actor while I think Iran are violent religious fanatics.
