Oh, I was watching Fox News this morning and they had some retarded white people line dancing. Who started it anyway? Because back in the 70's nobody was doing no line dancing on Hee Haw.
I guess, I'm old and I've never claimed to be that smart to begin with so yeah pretty much.
The Macarana and many other dumb assed line dances aren't even country music originated. I wish I could remember a couple more that are even more mind numbing stupid. My favorite 5 minutes of hate is reserved for the Electric Slide. 😂 😂 😂

I think there might be one there. I used to go to the one on Atlantic Blvd about a mile west of the (ghetto) Regency mall.
Then you must have been familiar with Reggies, in the heart of the Cedar Hills area. Back in the 80's and 90's, the middle aged women back then called it the menopause lounge.

I didn’t live in Jax in the 80’s and 90’s and even if I did I wouldn’t EVER go anywhere on that side of town. Eeeeww.
Back then the Westside was still predominantly redneck. It just got worse around the mid to late 90's.
I grew up on the Southside and my Mom always said stay on this side of the River!
My sister, brother and myself tried talking my parents to seriously move away from the Westside for years but for some reason they feel they're too old to move. They live in Ortega so it's not even a half mile from the Naval Air Station, where they visit frequently.
On a side note, we even made my hard headed father switch from OP medical to visiting St Vincent's in Middleburg whenever he needs to go to the hospital. Ever since the spring of 2023, he hasn't made any ER appearances. At OP medical, it felt like my mom was taking him there at least twice a month.
When I moved to Jax in 83, my wife and I bought a new tract house in Mandarin. We were literally in the woods and had horse farms around us. Baymeadows Road had NOTHING on the south side of the road, it was all cattle pastureland. That area has gone to hell in a handbasket now, I go around it at all costs now.

Look, I was in my 20's when that terrible Cameo crap came out and I can tell you no one was line dancin' to it. Not whites and especially not blacks. And if there is such a thing now the blacks are just making fun of white people. Probably some black people looked at white people line dancing on TV and were laughing and "Word Up" came on and a few of them started a group dance as a goof. The only people defending line dancing in here are whites. And they can't dance. So they have to step.....step...clap...clap.....turn.....around.....stomp.....stomp.
Now, Clogging is different, that's real dancing and was a spin off of Irish Riverdancing by mountaine people in WV, KY, etc...originally from Ireland and such and line dancing ain't no spin off of Clogging, anyone that's ever Clogged will tell you that. Line Dancing was made for white people at country redneck bars who were drinkin' which made their inability to dance to begin with even worse so they made it up so they could have a dance they could do. I'm not talking about the old area. Specifically I'm talking about between Philips Highway and Southside Blvd. It's become a blighted area of low rent motels and hookers and blow. right there near I95. The old Baymeadows Road between Philips and San Jose are nice neighborhoods. But the elements are creeping up on them, crime only a half mile away. And Philips is spelled with only one L, I was shocked to learn that, unless the sign painters can't spell. 😂

There are some residential decent developments east of Southside Blvd but Baymeadows between Southside and Philips Highway gives me a rash and a case of the hives. It's serious clutter. But to be fair, the intracoastal area I have a house in has become unrecognizable. The traffic sucks all day long.........and the people that shop in the area, half of them don't speak English, and it's not just Hispanics, it's nuts. I don't know where these people came from and why they are there or what they are doing there. I think the Regency area rats are crawling east these days.

Back when I was partying like that...my dock did not get on to me about my drinking. Now I have 3-4 drinks a night...and he is square up my azz, and I have no bad symptoms in my blood tests or anything. I told him I was not trying to make it to 9o, and would rather have fun the rest of my life. My body tells me what I can tolerate better than the doctor.
