Is Saban the best?

Your natty was against a pac10 school. And their QB started the season as the third string guy and had to start because one guy quit and the other got hurt. With that you still barely beat them. Georgia has played Clemson several times too, plus ND and a few others. Stop acting like you are elite. Elites don’t consistently lose the way you do. Florida has only really sucked as of late thanks to Swamp Donkey. And you constantly talked about how much LSU sucks but suddenly they are a powerhouse. Bama wasn’t shit from the mid 90s until Saban showed up. And LSU really was only good while he was there and shirt,y after he left then they became just average with the grass eater, but they still own you like Georgia does. Aside from all that, if Georgia is so weak, how come you can’t beat us? We absolutely own your sorry asses. Good luck with the $49 Million turd you have as a coach.

Far be it from me to claim one side or the other in this fight, but they did beat you last year unlessnkn mistaken...

LSU was just “average” under Miles?? I’m not a huge fan of Miles coaching ability but he did win 1 national title.

When has UGA won their last national title again?

You like some other UGA fans that have come over here are such over the top homers that you can’t even think straight and have no logic. Poor choice of words my friend.
I was not a fan of Miles either initially but I grew to respect him a bit. I think without saban at bama he probably would have another title at least and almost certainly would still be there. Saban wrecks the curve for a lot of teams. The fact that auburn has been as inconsistent as they have yet still had any measure of success against bama is kind of impressive to see. Pretty much the textbook definition of rivals stepping up

Pretty sure Auburn has fared better against Bama than LSU.

Sorry, that was unclear. They beat you in ‘17, which was “last year” if you count the most recent season as “this year”.
The most recent season was 18 in my book. But yes they did win in the reg season in 17 then we stomped their ass when it mattered in the SECC. And that win you refer to was their third of the lastfourteen tries. So I’m sure you can see why I look at them the same way I do ga tech. They are our bitches..

I think I’ve seen it both ways... the upcoming season being “this season”, as it will be in this calendar year, and the most recent as “this season”, as it’s the most recent one played, but yes, I can get how thatisnt very clear.

And yes, I’m aware you guys won the rematch. But the statement was that they hadn’t won recently, so that was where myvreactikn came from.

To be fair to them, they did have a pretty tough schedule in ‘17. They played Clemson, iirc, so they had 4 games against playoff teams. They beat 2 of those teams, and winning the iron bowl then the rematch in the secc was a tough road. A tough game like that against your biggest rival is draining, even if you win. It’s always tough to beat a good team twice in one year, so that rematch was going to be tough.

They’re just a weird team though! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a program compete for titles one year and havevtheir coach on the hot seat or fired a couple years later. That seems to happen to them a lot, and not just recently. It seems like tuberville was always on the hot seat too but would pull himself up and have a really good season, then fall back into the hot seat a year or two later. They also are one of those teams that conceivably could beat anyone on their roster, and lose to anyone on their roster. You just never know what you’re going to get, and it seems like it reaches way back in history.

I don’t follow the uga auburn rivalry so I wasn’t aware of your recent dominance

Saban has two national championships without even winning the western division. Also beat Texas' second string quarterbacks to win the 2009 national championship.

If you take away the championships he won without winning the western division, Saban has a whopping one more championship than Florida has since 2006 (3-2).
Those things may be true but winning is winning...it's hard to argue again Saban's success.

Are you kidding? It makes a big difference when Saban is getting chances that coaches during the 60's, 70's, and '80''s would not have gotten

What chances are those? Making the playoffs or the title game after one loss or not winning the conference?

There was no playoffs or even conference championship games in the 60's, 70's, or 80's. I don't really care to research that far back but I'm sure there were a few one loss teams who were crowned national champs back then.

Agreed. He would have still out recruited people with less restrictions back then.

WTF are you talking about? Are you really trying to downplay what he has done because auburn has beaten him a few times? No one GAF about that.

I don't give a phuck what you think but that doesn't stop your dumbass from responding anyway.

If other people don't care that Saban has received tons of second chances that other coaches didn't receive, that is on them...not on me.

One loss often eliminated teams from winning the national championship back in the 60's, 70's, and 80's. Saban has only been undefeated once in his entire career.

The greatest coach ever according to doofuses like you has the same number of undefeated seasons that Gene Chizik has
