Is math racist? Asks a USA Today Headline.

We are living in one sick country where everything is racist. So lets keep dumbing down the education system "for equity". Lets keep disbanding advanced placement classes for exceptional students. How does that help minorities. How does this help us compete with China? It doesn't. But I am damn sure we are light years ahead of China when it comes to pronouns. We'll show them.

I wonder if say the Tuskegee airmen thought math was racist. They were fighting real racism. Recently a celebrated black woman mathematician died. Her name is Katherine Johnson and she helped NASA and our space program tremendously in the 1960's with her brillance. I doubt she thought math was racist. FAILING to teach math would be even more racist if the reason is a feeling that there is a segment of the population not equipped to understand it. Talk about the racism of low expectations.

If basic mathematics is racist, then everything from finance to science might as well be in that category. USA Today is just another run-of-the-mill, fake news-rag run by liberal trash. I only read the Sports section of that rag back in the 80s as a kid. It's a joke.
