Inside Access: DJ Lagway & More

I do not think it is as serious as people will make this out to be. I don't know if this had something to do with his motion or simply a pre-existing issue in his shoulder, but he played through it last year. Now, they will be cautious with him as they should be - rest, rest, and more rest, is what we will see from him, but I am no doctor. On March 6, ahead of spring practice for two weeks, what I don't need to see right now is Lagway risking further worsening the issue. Sure, it would be great to have him out there, and I know he is No. 1 in the fan's minds about wanting to see him work, but we are in the first week of March, not the first week of August. "IF" he is out the next two weeks or so, that is not the end of the world - "IF" he is out for three months, that "may" be a different story, but either way, all we can do is have some patience and see what unfolds.

Also, LB Izayia William update: There was a TON of noise in the system about a possible announcement for the good guys - I do not think we will see that until he revisits UF. I will circle the last week of March or the spring game on April 5.

Other Players that will be either out or limited this Spring Include:

Caleb Banks (Foot)
Sharif Denson (Foot)
Chad Gasper (ACL)
Aaron Gates (Knee)
Jameer Grimsley (Knee)
Grayson Howard (Minor Tissue Injury)
Dijon Johnson (Shoulder)
Jamari Lyons (Had Surgery on his lower Leg)
Bryce Thornton (ANkle)
Eugene Wilson (Still not 100%)
