Inflation numbers. Lets Go Brandon

I understand. But just regarding fuel, does it make sense to you that on Biden's first day in office, he shuts down our own pipeline in the war agajnst fossel fuel and then 10 months later he's begging OPEC to increase production. Does OPEC not deal in fossil fuel or are they not located on planet earth? Does this make any sense to you?
The Keystone pipeline?

How is this even possible. Biden and the Dems keep telling us that wages are up, everyone is making more money, the Trillions in spending is helping America.

And the dems will tell the sheep that they tried to get them more aid (for the problem that the dems created), but the mean ole republicans blocked it. Cause they hate poor people.

The sheep will eat it up with a spoon and trip over themselves to go vote for Hiden again in 2024.

My point is that you can be forceful while being (again) disciplined. Assuming you are a Gator fan, this is just like the Marco Wilson event. Don't throw the damn shoe. Don't call Africa a set of "s.... ...countries". Why? So that you get suburban women on your side.
Nope

Davy Crockett and the UT Band ( Pride of the Southland) UT as in Tennessee

Its a play on KC and the Sunshine Band with homage to the great Davy Crockett (see avatar.)

Looking at my father-in laws COLA, using it as a base and factoring in my wife's raise, we will be short of buying power by $1425 dollars this year at a minimum

@Sunburnt Indian , do you have any advice for Orangeclad? ;)

8% or so was finished and it was years away from being completed. That pipeline wouldn't have done anything to fix gas prices now. I do wish that Biden kept it alive despite the great risk.
"Great risk"? What's costlier or more expensive (or dangerous) than 9 million 18 wheelers hauling oil over the interstates? Warren Buffet, is that you? (want to use his trains).

Not sure why EVERYTHING has to be a debate or argument but if you can't recognize that a pipeline is risky than whatever. I never said oil trucks isn't risky too. Both can be true, and both is true.

EVERYTHING is cost/ benefit. The Pantshitter's policy has nothing to do with safety. It's all about crippling oil and gas in the narrative of Climate Change retardism. Don't you get that?

Whatever man. I'm not having this stupid argument. They both are risky and you know that but you HAVE to criticize Biden somehow, someway. I'm not that immature but do you.

I think this is the second or third time that I ask you for a solution on different things. One thing I can remember was race. Everytime it is no solution and then crickets, stay low for a little while and thing emerge again and start something new. Are you related to jesse and al.

Pretty sure this is a lie. Hope you pleased your boyfriends

We had a conversation on race in September that I replied to you. It was about why do have a problem with NAACP but not other groups that stand up for rights and equality of their respective races.

So yes it was a lie by you. You guys forget that everything is saved on here 😂

You just opened yourself up. You have complained about everything from race to energy. (I am being nice). What is your solution? I am not trying to be mean, but word can come back to haunt you.
I don't have a solution on energy. Not an expert. I don't pretend or need to be an know it all.

I offered plenty of solutions on race but you know...

I can't advice Orangeclad. Fox Business, Mark Levin, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Texas News and I have it all wrong. BSC is the resident expert on the US petroleum industry. Biden has nothing to do with gasoline prices.
He’s told you time and time again…Biden does not personally drive tankers or run the oil refineries. It’s not his fault.

So what is the solution?
Maintain energy independence (don’t shut down pipelines)

build and use alternative sources. Get solar on house or be part of energy cooperatives. (very common out here in the west)

reduce overseas requirements

don’t drill on historically indian sacred lands

reduce individual carbon output (e.g. my airline flights have been cut by 90 percent plus due to MS teams. I use virtual visits for follow up care versus driving 10 miles there and back, etc.)

get off of coal

Ensure China and India do too

Continue to innovate around carbon capture (Saudi Aramco has this in place for trucks that can capture 80% of carbon output)

Plant more trees.

Eat less meat, which by the way, your cardiologist told you to do decades ago.

Empower and inspire. Don't talk down to people.

These are reasonable steps that most people can agree to.

Tsk tsk. You can advise Orange, like you've advised all of us. We'll never get through to the slow. BSC is not capable of learning. :D

Worthy of 1000 likes. As you know, November, 2020 we were energy independent. Today we are energy dependent. This is due to Biden energy policies. As you know, our getting through to our slow members is completely beyond our reach.

No, I see several things on that list that I object to, or view as downright silly.

Some good ideas on this list, some bad ones too. As I said, you are a centrist liberal living in a hard left state, so you believe you are a conservative.

Maybe by comparison, but not in practice.

Sure but do not subsidize it

reduce overseas requirements

OK

Yawn you watch too many movies. This is not a real issue. I liked Billy Jack because Karate was cool.

Don't care I do not like to fly anyway but AGW is not an issue or a crisis anyone needs to worry about.

get off of coal

Let the market decide.

Ensure China and India do too

Cut off China and sell coal to India. Time to put China in a box.

Continue to innovate around carbon capture (Saudi Aramco has this in place for trucks that can capture 80% of carbon output)

I will eat what I want. Mind your own business and stay out of mine.

Is that free advice or are you thinking about a paid seminar?

These are reasonable steps that most people can agree to.

Typical libs speak. I am reasonable and do not agree with half of it.

It's a start that you agree with half of it. Calling me a "lib" when my first sentence is "energy independence" is not a serious response. Which is fine.

On Indian sacred land, this is similar to slavery. There is a historical debt that can be paid the hard way or in a collaborative way. If of all the lands, they call, say 5 to 10% sacred and we do no new drilling. Who cares. Move on.

On the flip side, there will be 5 to 10% of the population who really want to freedom to eat meat and will do so, that is fine too. There are many who are indifferent on meat or chicken and will go with the latter because it is less expensive, easier to lose weight on, better for your cardiovascular health and less carbon. I also enjoy my Oceans Prime 8 oz. Filet. Banning it is ridiculous, cutting back is prudent. They get the information and make their choice.

I think we should subsidize solar to get unit costs down and get us off of foreign oil. Bring our troops home and bring inflation down.

Not talking down to people is free advice that people even like Van Jones (5 years later) are starting to recognize. For example, we can disagree and I will not look to talk down to you, Kalim or anyone.

I do have one question, off topic.

What do you think of Lane Kiffin? I can't wait for this response.....

Lean red meat is SO much better for you than a majority of what most people substitute it with.

Abstract

The general health message to the public about meat consumption is both confusing and misleading. It is stated that meat is not good for health because meat is rich in fat and cholesterol and high intakes are associated with increased blood cholesterol levels and coronary heart disease (CHD). This paper reviewed 54 studies from the literature in relation to red meat consumption and CHD risk factors. Substantial evidence from recent studies shows that lean red meat trimmed of visible fat does not raise total blood cholesterol and LDL-cholesterol levels. Dietary intake of total and saturated fat mainly comes from fast foods, snack foods, oils, spreads, other processed foods and the visible fat of meat, rather than lean meat. In fact, lean red meat is low in saturated fat, and if consumed in a diet low in SFA is associated with reductions in LDL-cholesterol in both healthy and hypercholesterolemia subjects. Lean red meat consumption has no effect on in vivo and ex vivo production of thromboxane and prostacyclin or the activity of haemostatic factors. Lean red meat is also a good source of protein, omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin B12, niacin, zinc and iron. In conclusion, lean red meat, trimmed of visible fat, which is consumed in a diet low in saturated fat does not increase cardiovascular risk factors (plasma cholesterol levels or thrombotic risk factors).

I'm torn on the subject.

Typically there's a direct correlation with crazy and performance in the sack, but something tells me we need to consider an exception here.
