I think this is the plan. When Israel attacked Iran earlier, they took out their entire air defense system...and it is still down. They are SO exposed now, and their proxies are extinguished by Israel. The regime is holding on by a thread. And they know it.
Spot on. Don't do regime change, per se - does not work, but take out the Nuclear capability, show kindness to the people in the area (they have a full mountain range to their west, they are not just going to "pour over the border") and let the people have an Arab spring again.
