Then I woke up this morning and remembered it was real!!!
After five years of losing to them, I was starting to really hate them. Really enjoyed watching their fans scurry out of the stadium last night.
Man, I said after the Kentucky win if we can win just one of the next four games and compete in the other ones then going to a bowl game would be within our hands. Texas was rough, but we competed against Georgia and who knows, if DJ had not gotten hurt. And look what we did last night.
I’m not saying Mississippi is a loss, it’s another tough game but we’ve got DJ and we’ve got the swamp so we’ve got a chance.
FSU is always going to be a tough game but we should be able to beat them this year.
Our fate for a bowl game is in our own hands. Rough start to the season, a lot of injuries, but what a talented young team with a lot of grit.
I’m really starting to be optimistic again. We need to let it play out. Good or bad Billy’s going to be our coach next year. I want him to be successful because then we’re successful so I am hoping for the best. Let’s try and stay positive and supportive. We knew this was going to be a tough year.
