That the players are okay and are actually excited to have Treon in at QB!!!! Every time he came in to play QB in the games JD started the players played differently, every single game. I wonder what the players think of Treon being QB now? Will they react motivated or say "OMG"?

The good news for Treon is our line has been improving with each game. We have found some playmakers and Taylor is starting to emerge as a good back. He is stepping into a much better situation that one he found himself in against the Vols last year.

I don't know much these days, but I know one thing, Hardee loves him some Treon.

Yes I do...I guess after watching him come in, correcting JD's QB play, I fell in love with Treon, football kind of love that is. I don't know, there are two things I watch more than anything in football, the OLine play and QB play. Then after that I watch the LBs more than anything whenever they are on defense. IMHO I felt Treon played better in the first game.

I believe we can win with Treon. I think he's a good player. It seems like his teammates like him and play hard for him. But..... I think Grier better fits what Mac wants to do on offense. It seems like Grier is more of a prototypical passer and he's shown some ability to make reads and throw to the right guy with accuracy. Seems better suited to a pro style offense than Treon.

Per Coach Mac:

“Now it’s Treon’s opportunity to take the reins and run with it. He’ll do a great job,” McElwain said. “We have two really good quarterbacks and have a package for either one. This is not an excuse. It happened. Things happen in life, and if you want to use it as an excuse, so be it. But that’s not what we’re going do. We’re going to have a great week of practice, we’re going to play our tails off against one of the best teams in the country on their turf, and this ought to be a blast, man.”

Guy is a great Coach..
