What a shock. My son had to move to Houston last October due to his job I stayed with him for a couple of days before and after a deer hunting trip. He lives in an area 12-15 mile south of Houston that seemed pretty nice but when we had to drive through the metro area I can see how they are ranked so low. I am surprised they're ranked below the New Jersey cities and Detroit.

From Beaumont to Houston is a lot of industrial stuff. Shipping and oil industry if I'm not mistaken. Not exactly clean but it has to be done somewhere.
