I care about the state of the country, not whether the President lies. Is he some beacon of morality? No absolutely not. But our country is in better shape now than at the beginning of his Presidency.

Weve had Presidents that have lied to us for decades now... Obama lied to us, Bill Clinton certainly did.
Trump lies largely when it comes to boosting his own ego, accomplishments etc. I dont think he has lied about something that has directly negatively impacted our country.
The political game is such a nasty one these days that its a bit naive to expect the winner of the game who wins the presidency to be this incredibly moral person.
At the end of the day, is the President making this country safer, more prosperous, etc is what I care about. Looking to a President for morality purposes likely will end up being disappointing if History is any indication.
