How is this possible?

Do you question the tweet that you posted since it came from an MSM source? Or, was this one grandfathered in because you found it on Twitter?

Most MSM outlets regularly tweet breaking news. And contrary to what many folks here think, they usually break stories before the crackpots do. They just have higher standards about verifying sources so they don’t as much of the sketchier stuff. Crackpot sites have lower standards, so they’ll often “break” stories with little to no fact-checking.
I follow Catherine Herridge and trust her due to her work on the Russian collusion hoax. There are very few “journalists” I follow or trust in the msm.

That’s why I question every source, every story and research it. Propaganda and narrative control plague real news. I could give you examples if you’d like.

Not necessary. I completely agree with the Trust but Verify approach. I try to compare multiple sources as well. In my experience, MSM outlets are biased and often select facts to support their predefined narratives. But, they usually are at least based on real facts. It’s just about how they spin them.

When it comes to fringe outlets, I guess I follow a Distrust but Verify approach. I have seen too many stories broken on social media and fringe sites that are not merely biased, but contain many easily debunked factual errors or present their own unverified speculation as facts. That’s not to say that they never scoop the MSM on legit stories. But when they do, it’s because their lower standards enable them to publish stories faster.
