How do you lose to 4-7 Cocks at HOME?

Bama's defense definitely has been off the last 2 seasons. Coincided with losing Pruitt, who was a REAL DC.

While Kirby's 'coaching' has been on par for him. As long as he has a huge talent advantage, he will have a chance. But he promised a lot of titles to those 5-stars in 2017, 2018 and 2019...that haven't materialized.

We'll see if the 5-stars in 2020 are as easily fooled.
McElroy says your defense and depth on defense is from losing Kirby. I'm going to take a wag here and guess McElroy is closer to the program than you brother.

McElroy couldn't find his ass with both hands.

Bama's defense is the same as every other defense. Defenses have better stats when their offense is slow and plodding but can move the chains. This gives them plenty of time to grab a breather and huddle with the defensive coaches to discuss what the offense is doing and make adjustments. But when the offense is only running 5 or so plays and changing possession (whether by punt, TO or TD, doesn't matter) the defense doesn't perform as well. What has Bama's offense done the last few years? Transform into a quick strike unit. So of course the defensive stats have suffered. Nothing to do with Kirby.

(This was why we had to get rid of Muschamp, by the way. He was more interested in defensive stats than wins. If he would have put any effort into scoring points, rather than just moving the ball enough to give the defense a rest, he might still be here. He recruited well enough to be successful here, his defensive recruiting shows that. If only he had made the same effort on offense.)

Offense, defense, special teams! There are games on tv today. Watch some of them:)

Offense - 75 or so plays a game
Defense - 75 or so plays a game

Special teams - which combines
Kickoff
Kickoff return
Punt
Punt return
Field goal
Field Goal Defense
In your average 24-21 type game, maybe 30 plays a game.

Offense 42%
Defense 42%
Special Teams 16% (rounding)

Does that look like "a third" to you, Einstein?

We punted 9 times against auburn. How many points they score again?

Your stats vary depending on the game. They do not reflect the impact of each play. Common sense goes a long way.

Yes, and anyone with common sense would understand that special teams is not 1/3 of the game. 1/6 is more like, and that's combining the total plays of 6 different units.

And lets not forget that today kickoffs go out the back of the end zone and 90% of punts aren't returned. Special teams is pretty much an afterthought.

Impact is what your silly stats dont show. That's silly logic.let me guess you have baby smooth skin on your hands. Get outside a rake some leaves you might learn something practical

Good God you are dumb.

Kickoffs? Out the back of the end zone.
Punts? 90% are either fair caught or downed by the defense. Hardly ever blocked any more.

Special Teams is an AFTERTHOUGHT.

Your rediculous if you cant see the impact of special teams.lol I dont know what to tell you brother other than please stay inside.

Am I really? Rediculous? That alone tells us who here is working with a real brain and who is the Scarecrow.

As I said, kickoffs are out the back of the end zone. Punts are not blocked, and are rarely returned.

So you are telling me that FIELD GOALS are ONE THIRD OF THE GAME?

I said you were dumb. That may have inadvertently been praise.

You aren’t playing Valdosta State today. Go Blazers! The only championship team in Georgia.

Valdosta State, Georgia Southern and Georgia Tech all have more recent national titles than UGaly. Dawgs are their state's LOSERS.

Saban only wins with the same talent advantage

McElroy is a moron as an analyst, that's why you've never seen me reference his judgements here.

Don't worry, soon he will say something equally stupid that won't be kind to Kirbs, and you'll have to own that one too.
