Funny how no one mentions that overuse of face masks can create excessive levels of co2 in the body, which can produce an acidotic level. People with copd can actually die from it.
I posted that in another thread, @sadgator and one of the alts said that was crazy that there was no risk from continually re-breathing our own exhaled co2 all day.
Sure. Please don't tell OSHA about every dentist, nurse, auto painter and hygienist dropping dead from it. Maybe that's why no one mentions it.

Was leaving Walmart yesterday and saw one of those 'designer' masks on the ground. I think someone just realized this was all bullshit.

It is total duplicity to try to dissuade people from wearing a mask because of CO2, there is no politics about it. It is a joke to worry about unless you are using a saran wrap mask.... oh yeah, you said "overuse " to try and cover some strawman extreme that doesn't really occur. With that stupid logic you must never drink water because you can die from "overuse" of drinking water: hyponatraemia.

at the 10 sec mark of your video he says" masks are important for the infected to not infect others ( note the date was Mar. 8th) at the 21 sec. mark he says you see Korea and all their masks and we don't need that RIGHT NOW in the US. At 1:15 he says we need the masks for the professionals. You think he really was trying to get all the health care professionals to die from CO2 by wearings masks on 12 hr. shifts? Also note that because of the rapid spread, after that Mar. 8th. date and because we know that you may have the virus, not be aware of it (asymptomatic), and yet still spread it, mask usage was fully recommended and actually required in place. You should stop trolling stupid and unhealthy theories that can harm people
I always stay out of close crowds, my own personal choice for years.
I will wear a mask only when in large groups of strangers, like at a Wal-Mart etc.
The rest of the time the mask is in my shirt pocket.
I have never followed the un-Constitutional 'Marshall Law star at home' orders.
I continue to live my life, pretty much as usual.
I have, and have long had, all of the life essentials on hand. With home delivery (UPS),, the annoyance of closed business has a doable work-around available.
I feel sorry for the young working people that have had their lives so disrupted, but the smart ones will learn from this and be better prepared in the future, and that just might be the silver lining to this current cluster...
As for the dumb and/or slow learners, 'you can't save every puppy in the pound.'
