Hi, I'm visiting for the game Saturday, have questions

Okay guys, thanks so much for all your help. I'll be heading out from Auburn tomorrow morning. If any of you guys see an old, fluffy guy walking around with a camera around his neck (and maybe a portable tripod in his hand), looking kinda out of place (i.e. no Gator gear), feel free to holler at me and say hello. :)

And good luck with UK. Chomp 'em!

Did you enjoy yourself forest? Would love a positive report.
Yes, thanks. I didn't get back until late yesterday afternoon. Just now trying to catch back up.

First let me say, I'm sincerely sorry about how your game went. Memphis had a tough day against Navy, as well.

Anyway, I had an absolute blast. Every single person was nice to me, and a lot were willing to let me shoot stills and video, and do some interviews. You guys do tailgating right. Spread out everywhere. I got there about 3, and shot up until kickoff. I bet I turned down about a dozen beers, lol. (Drank one, though).

I drove down Saturday morning, about 300 miles, then walked around for several hours, from the Shands visitors parking garage up to the Swamp, and back. I tried to get to the garage you guys pointed out on Lemerand, but I got turned around in traffic by blocked streets and didn't think to use GPS once I got on campus (live and learn), and I couldn't figure out how to get around it.

Bur finally, some nice lady pointed out the Shands parking garage. I got there just as the bottom fell out, with thunder and lightning everywhere, but it passed over quickly.

I think I got a lot of good stuff, but I won't know until I start learning my editing software. Have a ton of other logistical things to take care of first (won't bore you), but I should have something on Youtube next week or maybe a couple of weeks. Just depends on how things go. I'm sure I will get faster as I go.

I'm heading out again on Thursday, and won't return until Sunday night, so I'm concentrating more right now on making sure I get the camera work done, and all that entails, and let the editing and posting happen when I can.

I have a few decent still shots I might be able to post much quicker, but I'm used to a cell phone, not the Canon T6 I'm using now, so we'll see.

Anyway, I had a great time. You Gator fans couldn't have been nicer, and I'm glad I started here.

I promise to come back and post pics and give you a Youtube link when I get that done.

Thanks again for all your help.

Just for a point of reference, I walked from the Shands garage down Mowry, then up Center Dr. to Museum Rd., stopping all along the way, then across Museum and up McCarthy Dr., tailgating, meeting peeps, shooting as I went, then into and around the North Lawn, and finally up to the stadium right before kickoff. Then walked back to the garage, and headed back in the direction of home, stopping on the way to spend the night, and finishing up the trip yesterday.

I'm a little tired, but certainly not bad for an old guy. It was all great fun.

I'm headed out again this Thursday. Had planned to go to Knoxville, but I'm afraid Hurricane Florence might dump a lot of rain on them, depending on the final path, so I changed plans and will go to Ole Miss for the Alabama game Saturday night. Then I'll go to Knoxville the following week.

A bonus for me is Memphis plays this Friday night, so I can catch that game, then head to the Grove Saturday morning. Also, my sister lives in Memphis, so the hotel is free, lol.

Oh, I'll also be at the FL-GA party in October, so maybe I'll run into some of you guys then. Not that there will be a lot of peeps there, or anything...

Forest jinxed the program. It's the only explanation.
Haha, I was afraid somebody would say that.

Let's see, how do you think I feel, as a Memphis fan, about Kentucky's basketball coach, or about their fan base, in general?

I'll put it this way. They aren't on my tailgating itinerary in the next few years.:D

FFS, dude is an obvious troll. He’s running you guys in circles. I haven’t seen race baiting this successful since Trump conned you all into voting for him by bringing up Mexicans.

Can't blame you there. If you get a chance, go take a dump in the middle of Rupp Arena.

If you do come to the WLOCP, please drop off that jinx in Athens, or at the least, definitely don't bring it to Jax with you... ;) --- :D
