I've been wondering about this, because it obviously offends you deeply that I refuse to admit that the 'worldwide health crisis' hoax is real. And I hate to tell you, but I talk to people every single day, in growing numbers, that are questioning if we aren't really blowing this way out of proportion.
But I really don't think you are clinging to this 'worldwide health crisis' notion to get a dig in on Trump. That's for dullards like urtren and bradley. You don't have the emotional investment for that, and you're too smart.
But the fact remains, you take it personally that I won't buy into the hoax. I'm wondering why. I think it goes back to a general premise of being a dem: Trust in government. Big government orgs are calling corona flu a 'worldwide health crisis', so you trust them. As I said, I think most dems view government almost as their parents. So if you disagree with mom and dad, the kid takes offense.
Do this for me: Research the level of funding for the CDC and WHO under Reagan, Clinton, Obama and Trump. And pay close attention to how funding has changed under Trump.
Then ask yourself; Based on recent history, the CDC and WHO has more funding from the US when which party is in power?

Speaking of ignoring, I see you aren't mentioning that the same group that told us there would be 2.2M US deaths....is now projecting there will be only 60k US deaths.

sadgator has never ignored that the IHME numbers have dropped...nor has sadgator cited to any modeling death numbers to support his position since the beginning of this crisis...
It is fantastic that those numbers have dropped (although that modeling is somewhat suspect and not absolute)...but that doesn’t mean we aren’t in health crisis or that this situation isn’t much more serious than a typical seasonal illness like the flu (as Trump has asserted)....
What it means is that the drastic measures most states have taken are working to limit the impact of the crisis...and for that...the leadership of the States and Feds get credit...
