And we all get hung up on Abortion and lose perfectly winnable elections and this continues unabated.

The people coming over, I am sure, are mostly very good people who just want a better life. I get it. At some point though, their countries need to solve for their issues.

Because they view illegal immigrants as a future monolithic voting bloc that will ensure their power forever.

Liberals will do anything to stay in power, including ruin the country.

Why else would they be doing it? It's not a "bleeding heart" issue. A majority of the people coming over aren't true asylum cases. Thousands of people die each year trying to cross, it feeds illegal sex trafficking and the abuse of minors, it lines the pockets of cartels and it hurts the poorest Americans due to a flood of unskilled and semi-skilled labor that is fine with getting paid in cash and foregoing benefits.

It's the biggest example of how the Left doesn't really care about us, they care about the ruling elite. This is true in every Leftist regime anywhere in the world - name a far Left gov't and look for the wealth....it's always w/the ruling class.

I don't fault DeSantis - he made his point. No need to continue to flog the dead horse. He's not going to make a meaningful impact on the influx anyway, it was a successful effort in showing just how hypocritical limousine liberals really are.

The asylum rule needs to be fixed and thrown out. Simply "not liking my country and being poor" isn't a request for asylum. There are VERY few countries in the world where asylum might apply, and that one is China.
