CB Blades is gonzo, unknown reason for dismissal by Dan?
Some in the media claim that this hurts UF's CB depth...

I'd say that it tightens it up a bit, but he was
'not all that' anyway, and adequate depth is still
there imo, just with some younger guys, but UF is famous for playing tFr at CB that go All SEC.

Fr CB Jason Marshall Jr - 11 Tkls, 1 TFL, 1 PBU
rsFr CB/Star Avery Helm - 11 Tkls, 3 PBU's.
Jr CB Jadarrius Perkins - 14 Tkls, 1 PBU
Jr CB Kaiir Elam - knee injured vs UA, likely returns for LSU.
-----
rsSr CB Patrick Moorer
rsFr CB Ethan Pouncey
Fr CB Jordan Young
Fr DB Dakota Mitchell

S/Star/CB Tre Dean has, and can play every position in the secondary.
41 Tkls, 14 Solo, 2 TFL, 0.5 Sack, 5 PBU's, 1 Int.
* And Soph S Rashad Torrence II has been playing lights out.
33 Tkls, 17 Solo, 2.5 TFL.

The game rotations at CB-Star-S include a lot of players.
There are others listed as safeties that could also play CB if needed....

When the fvck did we recruit Gonzo?!?!?

That's pretty weak sad, even for you.... 😏

CB Blades departure, considering his marginal role to Florida’s 2021 season, will barely register as a blip on our collective radar as fans. AMF

It's been a Plus & Minus kinda week for Gator recruiting:
The 3-star TE CJ Hawkins flips to Stanford, (iG's sorry to see him go)
While the 4-star DT Jamari Lyons commits to UF, (will be glad to see him arrive)
